I can imagine that him coming back to them from a win like that might be really good for them mentally. Might be able to bring in some positivity and stuff. At least I really hope so. Dota just ain't as fun without a Na'Vi actually good enough to compete.
Cant wait for the next Twitch copy pasta, like the one on Puppey
"Learn the ways of the Russians, speak their language for a while, they might think you are one of them. Then maybe join their team, success might come and fighting for last drink of vodka will be your next objective. Do not give up, you have Dota tournament ahead of you. Then win TI1, but don't stop now, you have to go deeper. Spend 3 more years trying to solve the puzzle of russki power of motherland and then leave the team with full knowledge of understanding of strenght of ROSSIA and PROMISE URSELF THET YU WILL NEVER LOS TO RUS AND KNOW OF COLLAPSING STRONG EMPIRE OF RUSKILAND."
How do you farm efficiently and be aggresive at the same time?
u always risk being ganged and killed, if ur opponent will not react fast-u will be in safety, otherwise u should ask ur team to help alot and think about 5-6 next steps, but sometimes I just dont think about anything and die on enemy's t3, cant understand how is that happening :O
After all the changes, how do you feel about the current Na'Vi roster?
I'm very happy that we finally got a person who is able to control everything and to rule us, that's what we were missing since puppey left. I think fng could do this, but we didnt trust him much, maybe it was my fault. And I'm really happy that funn1k is back motivated more then ever
I guess I'll dig through that later and see if there are any more decent highlights. I like those quotes though. For a guy who seems like he can be a real problem in game a lot of times he seems more self-aware than you'd expect when you sit him down to talk. I was surprised at some of the things he said in that CIS TI4 documentary.
Good Na'Vi is getting... Serious...? Anyway we'll see. They're at least making some effort towards the fans.
better ask him we are good friends irl after 4 years playing together, but dota is not about friendship, so maybe one day we will have different paths, hope this will be not that soon :D
I wish the comunity was this mature :/ changes are part of the scene, you cant stop them, and the bigger dota 2 gets, the bigger the changes will be and stuff
Well when you watch Hvost interview he has always been a chill and funny guy. He is not the typical cliché of a russtard like people were depicting him.
Wowee. By the way I missed the first round of voting? First time I checked it wasn't time yet, and then I checked and it was phase two. Good thing they made it to phase two! I would have felt bad....

Yeah I thought they were just doing that anyway, not contingent on winning the vote. Maybe I misread their release. Anyway with this competition I think they are in, but we'll see what happens.
Posting anything (not already posted) that I found fun/interesting from XBOCT AMA
Q: Hey XBOCT ! What was your most memorable experience with Puppey when he was captain? :D
A: when I was acting badly he was picking only Lycan for me for 10+ games, and after that I was fluffy and friendly!
Q: Who is your favourite player and why is it Dendi?
A: Dendi is worst player in the world, remember my words!!!!!
Q: How much are you currently practicing on a scale of 1-10? Do you think that with more practice you can be a real contender for ti5?
A: we are going to start a bootcamp in 2 days, so probably it gonna be 10, now it's something near 4
Q: Do you somehow defend yourself from DDOS?
A: well, yes. now i have even more protection, thanks my friends for help, I hope it gonna work
Q: What is up Xboctloveslakshmi? is she your gf?
A: yes, my gf's nickname is Lakshmi(it's the name of Indian goddess) as far as I know
It is the goddess of wealth, I thought he knew this since it makes sense for a carry...
Q: Do you still enjoy DotA as much as you did, say, when you were playing in the first International? Massive fan by the way.
A: a bit less, but it's related to matchmaking issues and long time lack of leagues such as IDEC, IHCS etc. this is the place where u have fun and skilled games both in one time
Uh well I think Na'Vi can do something about this. Definitely their participation in EEL helped.
Q: If you could direct a porno with 2 historical figures, who do you pick?
A: Marilyn Monroe and Albert Einstein
Q: Hey Alexander, how are you doing? I'm a huge fan of yours. Your playstyle always drove me insane, following you and your past fellow team mates through these years was a blast. You should know that you guys helped Dota 2 reach every level of quality in every aspect of competitive Dota 2 as we know. That said, these are my questions:
Do you feel any responsability for the current state of Na'Vi? Do you also feel like this last roster change is Na'Vi last run as we know?
Anyway, thanks for taking this time man, you are great! Always keep going strong. We are here cheering for you! Bring the old Na'Vi back, you guys are and will always be the defending champions.
A: thanks for cheering! 1-yes, of course I feel responsibility, I'm in Na`Vi for 4 years already(if I'm not mistaken) and every decision was somehow related to me, we had good and bad times, but now we gonna try hard to get back to top of the world! 2-yeah, we wont change any players before TI, hope we will take part in that competition
Q: Hi XBOCT! How are you today? I have some questions regarding the conflicts of your team if you don't mind. 1.) It's been heard that your team Na'Vi was supposed to disband after The International 2014, but you guys tried to rebuild and go up again. Can you enlighten us, even a bit, the story about it? 2.) Did the team become much worse when Puppey and Kuroky left the team? How did you guys tried to handle it? Did you guys tried to convince them not to leave, or you guys talked and decided that you guys are quits? 3.) What are you currently into? TV shows like Game of Thrones? ANime? pr0n? Anyway, thank you for making this AmA. Wish you luck on the The Summit 3 redemption vote and of course on the tournaments you're [going to] participate in.
A: hey! I'm a bit tired, but it's OK 1) there were no disband option, only changing roster, but it looks like we were a bit mistaken 2) it was hard to play and communicate together for all of us, so we decided to part ways 3) I'm watching house of cards 3rd season, finished game of thrones and waiting for new season, I dont like anime, watched only Death Note and did like it alot! Big thanks for everything!
Q: What do you think of AlohaDance from team empire?
A: he is irl fool, but very funny guy and frienly ingame, also great player so far
Alohadance always looks like a fucking Bond villain when I see him in pictures.
Q: How do you last hit under tower so well? I recall a caster said you were one of the few that CSed under tower based on feel, while other players such as EE would look at the creep hp and calculate if they need to hit the creep or not. I still can't last hit under tower all too well and I'm not sure when to hit the creep or not when friendly creeps are hitting it as well.
A: calculating is ok, but mostly u should watch first 2 hits of tower-if it's minimal and u have 50-55 dmg u should definetly hit, if u have <40 u should hit twice(heroes like potm, sf, invoker, morphling w.o. items on 1 lvl) when u have 60+ dmg in 75 % u shouldnt hit any creep except range) this is my retarded theory and i mostly relay on feelings, so dont flame me cuz of that
Q: What is the inmediate reaction from your team when you are caught out of position?
A: they breathe hard
Q: I see that you are #2 clockwerk in the world on dotabuff. Would you abandon the carry role everytime navi would pick clockwerk or would you just let someone else play it?

I did not know this...
