Would it be easier to drop one or both of them and rebuild from scratch? Maybe, but that would be like Alliance rebuilding without Loda & Akke, it just wouldn't be the same team; so why are all the haters keep shitting on the team for trying to get a combination that works without losing their 'faces' really.
I mean, Alliance went through just as many if not more replacements and try-outs and people just praised L&A for keeping on and trying to put together a lineup that works. Meh. you have a valid point, but there's just something about xboct that people (including myself) see as him not trying/caring as much as Loda. i don't really know what it is... but there's something loda is very much hated too pretty sure during alliance prime or after TI3 time there are so many hatepost when it comes to loda .. it's not just xboct It's not just xboct that gets the hate that's for sure... I openly stated my hate for Loda but for different reasons~ I guess Loda is just a more outspoken person, so people can't really put words into his mouth or interpret his actions a certain way like they do with xboct (because he doesn't openly interact with the english-speaking community as much) Especially because of the widley known past, xboct is much easier to lump all of Na'vi's problems onto than it is for Alliance and loda (imo)

That's my point though, I know lots of people don't like Loda but just open any of the recent [A] shuffle related news and compare them to the shitholes that the Na'Vi changes threads are. There were plenty of people critical of stuff related to them, but you never had dozens of people coming out with these completely useless bullshit posts that are literally nothing but flamebaits.

It seems Vanskor and Sedoy will leave their teams and play with solo, it doesnt say if it will be a full change or just for a time

saw the first game against NiP... Burden actually might have gotten themselves a contender for the TI5 aegis

So how were the games today? Did they actually happen.

Na'Vi looked quite good (again), but DDOS happened. They won the first game handily, and the second game they were in a good position and then DDOS again and they forfeited.
|
Yeah they would have won the second one. Some interesting drafts by them, like Viper/Enchantress/Phoenix vs Axe night stalker who just moved like snails, being useless in fights was fun to watch.
Windrunner for Dendi put him back in his element.
It's way too early of course but I hope these guys get to TI5 - we don't need much from Artstyle, just draft decently what suits the players, their respect for him should be a given, and then screw up less than goblak ingame.

i have to say artstyle was pretty decent both games, some off plays but most of the times he was on-point, and truthfully i dont think anyone expected much more, if this is his base-game then from now on, everythng should be an improvement

I wonder, how deep his hero pool is? (Will he miss fissures. like Goblak? )

Everyone misses fissures from time to time, though.

Didnt see their game, everything that gets them back on track is welcome to me.
@hateposts: Alliance just didnt play that much since they more or less disbanded. So there is less target area. Besides it's quite easy to hate a team that was once dominant and now buys people out of teams just to kick them a month later because their cores dont perform well. The fact that Navi in difference to Alliance kicked the people doesnt help. It's just not a nice behavior.

But Alliance kicked a bunch of people, too. They went through a lot of folks, including one of their ex-members in EGM. The only difference is there wasn't a TL frontpage news post about every change they made.

Yeah, but when Alliance kicked people, they brought in pubstars (or free agents/GGA players).
Na'vi bought out players from teams that were doing better than them.
|
PR was hardly doing better than Na'Vi, Goblak wasn't on any team either. The only person you could make a case for is DkPhobos really, but then again even Phobos was long affiliated with Na'Vi and supposedly only reason he didn't join them way back before going to Polars was because Na'Vi had no place for him - Alliance taking EGM from Tinker wasn't all that different.
|
The real difference is that Na'Vi had big official roster changes and Alliance went through a process of rotating players through until they found something that was working.
