Well he "can" be a good captain as we've seen with dc's performance they seem to be alright (i mean generally since TI6) but having a good captain isn't enough, the composition(any of the current and previous teams who performed didn't just perform because they had a good captain but because they also capitalized on what their players are good at and the team overall is actually good) has to be right for the captain to make it work and the other question that pops is that if Misery can continually be a good captain under different kind of team lineup(like puppey can certainly captain but this year shown secret took waayy too long and too many failures to be even decent and that's just decent ). And lets say he actually ends up with navi, what will happen with w33ha(the two seem stuck together) would w33ha also end up in navi (there's also resolution)? if so who will move out of the midlane will dendi or w33ha move. W33ha obviously is the better midlaner but would that move alienate dendi as he moves to the 1 position , or would dendi be willing to move ? or will w33ha move to the safelane and would he be the one who will end up alienated ? (plenty of midlaners moves to safelane such as arteezy/resolution but the example who still performed at the safelane position are actually heavy farming players to begin with so the transition wasn't that difficult and they managed to retain what they were good at). There's also misery ends up with navi w33ha/resolution could also join or both which would mean one of them would've to move from their respective position.

w33 played like he wanted to be a streamer. There were flashes, but it was like watching Singsing playing today. I liked the guy a year ago, two years ago, but he played like he wanted to get back to PUBG quickly.

W33 in this state is still better than dendi's mid if we are to talk about who should play mid if both are in the same team, w33ha could actually carry games . This is no longer the case of "the player doesn't have a team that makes him shine" since we've seen players suma1l and rtz(when he still played mid ) before they played on EG actually perform well on other teams. You could tell that w33ha is still a good midplayer even when Planet Odd is not at their good form . It's like rtz/miracles impressive farming pattern, or ramzes/noone/zai ability to make plays even if the team they're playing aren't playing that well together, like those skills still show up. Still though dendi just needs the team he is in with incredible synergy + clear playstyle + the rest has to be good so that he can shine.

Without a good captain, navi will never be relevant again.

It might have affected his performance and hero pool, since he was the one with most stuff to work on outside his role. ??? How many teams do you know where the captain has the last word? Are you inside the boot or something? For all we know he had the last word given how he AFK farmed and did not carry at all. This stigma of NaVi not giving captains the respect started with FNG and had another chapter with who? PSM? Goblak?, stop making something out of nothing. Every team has its dynamic and we will never know what it is like. Last time I saw EG, Sumail was drafting, does that mean Cr1t doesn't have the last word? We all know Sumail plays what HE wants, the players said it. So? What do we make out of it? Should we blame Sumail for not paying respects to Cr1t when they fail? It either works or it doesn't, period. They part ways and go separate ways. And if Paj didn't indeed have the last word, that shows how good a captain he is. He didn't draft good, he didn't play good, he didn't coordinate nor had a plan, from the beginning.
