Dendi is still the most famous person in dota ( https://www.dotabuff.com/players )
It's just that as he's the most recognized face in the competitive scene, it atracts sponsors by himself.

Im not saying everything will get better when they kick dendi, i dont think he is that bad. But sometimes you need to make big changes, to get back on track. I think navi would prefer to have a good dota team, over the popularity of dendi. Navi still would have a lot of fans without dendi, just look at Alliance.

I, for one, also think Dendi should part ways with Na'vi, but this is not the best for Na'vi money wise, so it's probably not happening

there's more out there than just dota dude... people get paid to post on social platforms, visibility of brands over social platforms is huge, and they are willing to pay money to get them out there... NaVi, if they are not dumb, and considering they have built a succesful brand over the years means they probably arent, should have contract with brands to get money over visibility
they are perhaps one of the most well know esports brands, alongside Fnatic, TL, SK and maybe VP

One example, most LoL players know have heard of Dendi and not of Kuroky.
