I don't think it really matters who the captain is though. No one on the team is notably better than their results indicate. Then you must not have seen artstyle navi much. They could have done what Vega had recently done. That was how positive artstyle navi was. The captain is not the problem. Sure, maybe they can improve from a tier 4 team to a tier 2 team, but they weren't doing great with puppey and it didn't work with FNG as well. Now puppey and FNG are the captains of the 2 best EU teams.
Which is why I compared them with Vega. Realistically, I do not think that lineup would become unstoppable or have an aura of invincibility. But I think they could be no pushovers, capable of taking series against top teams. That is the present situation Vega is in right now.

I am not speaking bad of PSM, I am saying NaVi lacks more than a captain, and given their reticence to rely on other people (FNG/Goblak/ArtStyle/PSM) plus their inability to step up and cover the roles Puppey and Kuro left empty, PSM is clearly not enough, ArtStyle covered those holes way better and from Dendi's Q&A I get that not everyone on the team/organization agreed on keeping ArtStyle, otherwise they would have not let him leave and then rehired him.

It's pretty much the same. The only answer that is kind of different in English translation is this --
Andrew "PSM" Dunaev joined Na’Vi a couple of weeks ago. How did he influence the playstyle, the movements the team is doing in matches? Is he the man making the calls in the game? Something's are best kept on a team basis. I'd prefer to not speak on this at the moment. *smiles*
In Russian version his answer is just, 'it's too early to answer this yet.'

Looked at the standings, Navi has to win out tomorrow to be safe and get in. Need to 2-0 in both series or the teams with 3 matches left can easily jump ahead. Even then they aren't totally safe but gotta win out for sure.

They probably wont make it. NIP and MB are the favorites at the moment. The team they needed to 2-0 to be safe was NLG, MB has their number and NIP is too solid to drop 2 games to them, Most teams would struggle to 2-0 NIP.

Hey one can have hope and cheer for one of your favorite teams. It's not going to be likely but it's not out of possibility. One can cheer and hope. :D

I just want Dendi to blink around the map and go liek pew pew, sure it doesn't amount to anything but he's the best and flashiest player, he also likes to play puck so I hope they pick it regardless of the meta. He's such a nice guy too!

They new they had no chance and they gave no f*cks about the other teams.
Or do you really believe they were executing some planned strat? Didn't you see how they teamfighted everytime anywhere, 3v5, 4v5, etc?

Umm. He was referring to the Silencer Razor Axe Tusk Undying draft.

New Na'Vi roster: 1-Resolut1on Cap 2-Dendi 3-XBOCT 4-ALWAYSWANNAFLY 5-ALOHADANCE
|
I still do not think xboct is the issue. I feel he has been let down by the drafts, Dendi and his supports a lot, so he doesn't get the room required to do his thing.
