Not true, MVP is 0-5 with 343 instead of Net on Fnatic (SL and Summit 5).
EG has the advantage, because Mineski and MVP have played so many games that they can see drafting and play style trends.

Hoping for a top 5 finish for EG! I'm just interested to see how the team is developing right now, hoping for big things!

LGD pretty much play the defensive style Dota and are the only non aggressive Chinese team left to do "ok" as of late. I see them having extremely close games vs EG if they play as they have similar styles, farm up before you fight etc.
Onto how i think EG will do this major, i hope they just bring some new heroes to the pool, show some more special tactics with niche picks for Fear and Suma1l funky mids. Add in im hoping Aui can silence critics with some very nice carry plays too. I don't think this major is very important at all in results, not saying winning it means nothing just that if EG finished 10th here or 1st it won't change any of their plans going into TI6.

we can't look worse than Secret we won team.

Who cares if MVP got destroyed by Fnatic. They will get lucky and avoid them. Meanwhile, Fnatic/mushi will do everyone and net a favour by failing in spectacular fashion XD
I still think eg has what it takes to do well. They don't look terrible in recent tournaments. They had been constrained by PPD weak drafts more than anything else.

Because Fnatic is going to beat MVP, and EG should beat Mineski.
Can EG beat Fnatic? I'm not sure.
I expect Fnatic to win the group and MVP and EG to fight it out for 2nd.

Fnatic is in group C; EG, LGD, Mineski and MVP are in group D.
Still, I expect EG to come out of the group. I'd just really hope it 4-0 so they're firing on all cylinders. It's much nicer when EG is playing really crisp.

Umm. . . don't know how I did that.
Still, I expect LGD and EG to make it out, 2-1 MVP because I think MVP was just on a hot streak when they beat EG 3-0 earlier.

jesus AUI is actually horrible sometimes, how he died so many times in game 2 against Mineski i just cant understand

So far ur predictions of MVP and LGD are rather accurate... more accurate than 90% of people hyping up MVP before the event Happy the boys are playeing well!! Just one mroe game now, and we #1 in groups!! Better then I was hoping for.

Downright disgusted what I saw from EG. Can't blame drafting on this one. I didn't see ANY improvement from Epicenter.

They were 1 team fight from going through as the winner of the group, and MVP has had EG's number for a while. Heck, MVP was either of 2 missed Shallow Graves from going out the loser of the group. Sometimes, Dota turns on very small details.
But their team-fighting needs to improve before TI. They've got to figure something out.

I see EG still having potential, but I'm not going to see it at this tournament. I hope they'll figure it out soon since I still believe Aui can be an awesome carry. But right now, this is just a weird time .

If Aui keeps his current level of performance up, it would not surprise me if they kick him after the major. It is very hard to believe he isn't being the whiny constantly second-guessing person they kicked post TI5 atm, on top of his awful play.

There's no one to really replace anyone with, so there's little reason to do that when you give up an automatic invite.
As much as the Western Shuffle really botched things up, we're riding this way until TI.

I really think Fear needs to start doing his stretches on his arms/hands, and start playing pos.1 again. He was way more stable as a carry than Aui.

Aui started as a carry tho
