what eg had the most all in push strats in the world and that was their go to style. 1 pos jakiro, 1 pos lina, even 1 pos visage lol.

Their go to style and preference has always 4 player greed and 1 poor ppd.

Now that Zai is done with school you think EG will make any changes? Something crazy like PPD to coach. Or is poor Aui getting the boot again.

The roster is locked until after TI. They can't make any chances before that, unless they want to play the open qualifiers of course

Zai said in the interview posted a dozen or so pages back that he is interesting playing all positions except mid as he sees that as boring. Said he most wanted to try position 5 though.

i don't think its likely Zai jumps into the squad but fuck i've been wrong before

Player skill isn't really their issue. They just not clean enough in their execution yet. That's something that just is going to take some time. ppd would also, if he was public about it, admit that they just weren't in sync with what people were trying to do at Epicenter. Complexity also probably turned in the best series I've seen from them, yet, so that didn't help matters. (Though I highly doubt EG was beating Newbee, unless they got caught looking past Complexity.)
Zai should, hopefully, be used as a Coach/Analyst for EG, as everyone at the top is starting to accept its necessary.

Went back to watch most of the series with complexity. I'm actually less concerned about EG going into Manila than I was before. Swindlezz's draft in Game 1 was really solid and EG had a chance, but it was a lot harder to pull off than complexity's.
I also think EG just wasn't quite as prepared for BM to come online that early. That was much of the mistake, if there was any. Any other offlaner and I think their early game goes a lot better.
Game 2 is simply EG got Alch'd. As we saw in the Finals, Alchemist requires the draft be built to stop him or you have the hard-counter. (Which, given where Swindlezz picked it [2nd phase, last pick], it was a well-planned cheese.)
The series against TL was really the only series that went supremely bad, but Kuro's AA was 10/10/40 over 2 games. AA is just a hard counter to much of EG's play style that day. And, as we saw in the Finals, it's also much of a counter to a lot of good teams.

He will be @ EG after TI6 probably , they won't risk the invite i feel unless things go really really wrong.

There is no risk of the invite, he is a substitute, he will go as an official standin if they wanted him too. Looks like PPD keeping this squad until after TI6 which is fair enough.
After TI6 post shuffle, i see Zai joining a bigger team unless Kaipii randomly gets to TI which i highly doubt as the EU qualifier will be huge. Bone7 is still carry on that team who makes many mistakes, and sexybamboe is also interesting with his plays at least. Zai can't contribute as much to the team as a 4/5 as much as would be required i feel.

Can teams really swap players around like that? I thought substitute players are only allowed to step in when there's some sort of injury / illness or if for some other reason an official player can't attend an event.
EDIT: Apparently teams can swap substitutes with players if both the players agree to the change

Zai will be at TI6 with EG, which ppd actually responded to him about when tickets went out. (Via twitter)
I imagine they'll use him as a coach for the event, and Zai will be on a strong team for next year. Universe to get the boot for Zai. Calling it now.

I see Secret full resetting after TI6 again and Zai to EG unless we win TI6 in which case there will be 0 changes.
I can see the Rtz stack with cr1t being announced after ti6, it was rumored it was going to be locked in before the last lock, but rtz choose to go with Secret instead.

if Zai goes back to EG it'll probably be as support though
I think Fear is gonna retire this time.
