MVP & Newbee use their Wisp-based version.) Against Team Liquid at Epicenter, the AA was just the most brilliant counter pick. Kuroky went 10/10/40 on the hero over 2 games. Let TL get kills on Aui & Sumail they'd normally not get. Especially in game 2 where EG had a bunch of Melee (or close-range) cores. It's not like they got brutally outplayed (except for Game 1 against Newbee), it was really good preparation by Kuroky or something missed by ppd. But TL hadn't drafted AA in 5 months. Sometimes, you just get Drow Rangered. Sometimes, you get Broodmothered. Against TL, they got AA'd. | ||

I didnt get to watch all theier games 100%, but I from what I saw, the drafts were not the best... And especially against Liquid, you could see how well Liquid meshed together, and always knew what to do in certain situations... It comes with playing together for a while. They always had a plan. I didnt really see that in EG's play. But were not out yet, I think we are going to beat the winenr of Col and VP, and even secure a top3 after that! | ||

As I see that sometimes Aui_2000 is so hard trying that it is not taking a good step back saying that "Ok, this fight lost, let's not further engage..." and then he dies with the rest of the team. PPD was also loosing some of his confidence in my eyes, probably this is the reason why his activity on youtube/twitter is taking a step back. He needs to get a good idea about his teammates (state of mind, skills, mechanism) and start making clear strategy and possible ways to adjust things when it is getting out of hand. Somehow the cold-minded analytic view should became superior and replace the emotional component, which is currently working against their favor. | ||

My biggest fear with EG is, I don't see how any amount of bootcamping is going to bring them back to top 3's. The next major is only 3 weeks away. They looked severely outclassed against several teams. Too bad they can't be in DL because they desperately need the games. | ||
