I don't see that Bulba's Brood needs to be respected, I was very unimpressed with his Brood for half the time in Game 3 vs Vega. Yes, the Doom and Disruptor made many rotations, but he missed a lot of cs. He continually fed spiders to a hellbear doom. Also, leading up to the Shanghai major, EG was like 7-1 vs Vega if you include the Captain's Draft tournament. Edit: My point being, this is why DC didn't get results. Aui and Bulba are skilled, but they are not the world's best players, and now EG picked them up. I don't see them as the clear NA favorite over coL anymore until they play head to head. | ||

That's the issue PPD had with aui #4. Fear's #4 at least can do shit if necessary, but aui can't. | ||

Since Arteezy joined, and even now; there seems to be little focus on actually winning lanes. In most of the games I have seen of them they have been behind all game and then turned it around with superior teamfighting lategame. I wish they would buy Sumail more space earlygame so he can take over the midgame. | ||

Aui always played super greedy semi supports, Zai did as well a lot of the time | ||

ppd is very Bill Belichik-like: he wants to remove what you do best and pick you apart with how EG play the field, as it's given to them. It's why "standard" EG rolls over the lower tier teams but can have problems in game 1 with any Tier 1 team. (Or a team playing like Tier 1 that weekend.) It makes them amazingly consistent, but they're going to rarely be truly dominant until late into a long tournament. Still, it was a solid showing. They won some money, learned some things and put on some good Dota. ppd & fear teams continue their ridiculous record in Elimination Matches. Though I'd have liked to see them play MVP again, minus the fact I figure they were going to lose to MVP, as MVP was firing on all cylinders and EG is still learning how they want to play this roster. Though the Ember + Lifestealer combo was damn fun, it has to be said. | ||
