Really interesting changes. I for one can't wait to see what Abed can do outside of SEA. I think he can be great if given the right support system but the worry here is how greedy this team is gonna be.

Excited for the changes. It was clear either rtz or sumail would depart from the team, ofc sad to see the King going away.
But these new players are strong and hungry.
Ramzes on #3 is going to be treat im sure

looks good, at least better in a refreshing way.

i'm not too sure about abed, but he's very good and is slightly more consistent in the way that EG probably likes to play.
i've had my eye on him since his TA spamming days, and he has yet to impress past that point.

either way, he's a very skilled player and i hope this team uses more dynamic heroes, rather than beating down teams from start to finish.

sumail would benefit a team that plays around his moves.

the qualis start in 1-2 weeks.

After watching the Life of a Genius episode the released a few hours after this i got even more sad! They looked so together during that TI run (well up to the point of the Secret win which is where the episode finished) and Bulba was a proper hype man during it.

Now Sumail is gone and some big changes to the team have happened, very interesting times. Im holding on to the S4 has been released from his contract and Sumail is on the transfer list as hope they he is only loaned out so if this iteration does go bad that Sumail comes back in.

Not convinced tbh. Abed is imo a similar player type but also massive downgrade from Sumail and while Ramzez is a better mechanical player than s4, he also mains another position. Imo the problems of the last roster were how greedy they were and that they didn't teamfight well, and they kicked one of their best teamfighter and got even greedier.

I think Sumail would play well around Resolut1on. He tends to rotate and teamfight early, which would play nicely with Sumail's hyperaggressive style.

Would have liked Ramzez on 1 sumail on 2 a self-sacrifical offlaner on 3.

Problem is that the offlaner pool is a little limited right now, which goes double for NA.

I think people are a bit too hung up about farm distribution and greed (not only here, but the talk in general about new EG team).
Just because Ram has played carry the last years, doesnt mean he will play the same style on the offlane. From what I have understood is that he has a very high understanding of the game, and the VP squad always regarded his opinions highly, and he was also theier drafter for long times of theier success periods, Ram 100% has a idea and a plan on how to play as # in this team.
Abed also was given high farm priority in previouse teams, but thats also because he was regarded as the best player in most of those teams, and they naturally wanted him to be big in the late game.
Letts see how EG is going to play and how they chose to distribute theier farm and space creating.

It might be the football supporter in me thinking, but I feel our job as supporters is too support them, and not ask those types of questions before they have even played a game together

Atleast im super excited about this team, because they are all super skilled players that I feel is hungry for titles.
I ofc hate to see Sumail go, but it might be good for bot Sumail and EG, as I think SUmail still might have the higest skill ceiling, but I dont think he has been stable enough for many years now...

I hope we can see their performance soon - the VP 2019 TI video is kind of interesting, I am unsure how ramzes as a character fits in a team like EG. He is pure talent, but a very outspoken flamer.

The VP documentary was intereseting for sure, a very outspoken team in general. Ramz and Noone was especially hard, and Pasha only flamed Rodjer it seemed (Felt with Rodjer tbh, he felt like a scapegoat in the video).
This can go both ways, Ramz might do good with a different team were they comunicate differently, he is young and should be able to adapt.
Exciting times for sure...

I mean the last two games were pretty troll against a vastly outmatched open bracket team, I wouldnt read into them very much. Watch the EG vs Jstorm series if you want to see more serious games. (EG was still very dominant)

Still a bit rough around the edges but overall their play was strong, Ramzes and Abed might just turn out to be the people they needed. Also that double shaker action was hilarious to watch
