EG managed to not get eliminated in groups but that series vs Entity shows they still need a lot of work to do, we'll see if they can do any significant lower bracket run now.

Yeah managing not to get eliminated is a good way of putting it. Not expecting much, but hopefully they can slide into top 8.

Seems like LGD is smurfing in an ancient bracket, the way they are styling through this group stage. Even a 20k deficit is no problem for them, never losing their composure and giving Ame the time/space turning from a support(like in the 2nd game against RNG) to the strongest hero on the map. Kind a funny that the last placed team was the only one to took a game of them so far.

Honestly, LGD can only beat themselves at this tournament and most likely at TI. Feels like TI8 and TI10...

Tundra on the other hand, very disappointing showing so far...have expected more of them. Although pretty safe for the moment in regards to their TI-invite, it may still happen that they have to go into qualifiers.

Tundra, Sonics have been underwhelming but also EG and Liquid. I think Tundra has a mentality problem when it comes to LANs, but they may also be a bit burnt out from a tough season and TI is basically secure for them at this point. EG/Sonics/Liquid needed to show up to secure their TI invite, but they didn't, and it very likely means qualifiers for them.

Small potential for tiebreakers today, I don't expect anything to change though.

The last map was just a slaughterfest. I'm not sure if either team took the game seriously!
But yeah: Entertaining

For now I don't have much hope for them further on though...

Liquid is still only one series away from qualifying for TI. Most likely against BOOM, tough task in any case. No more errors allowed.
