Can we just take a minute to appreciate how goofy the schedule is?

If you are okay scheduling 4 Bo3s in a day consistently, the logical thing was to either take an off day (or start the group stage a day later) and then play:

Day 1: UB Quarters
Day 2: LB R1
Day 3: UB Semis & LB R2
Day 4: LB Quarters -> UB Final -> LB Semi
Day 5: LB Final & Grand Final

Playing 6 days is worse from a fairness standpoint because you're throwing in a difference in preparation somewhere, but if they were determined to do so then they needed to keep the progress balanced, e.g.

Day 1: UB Quarters
Day 2: LB R1 Matches 1 & 2 & UB Semi 1
Day 3: LB R1 Matches 3 & 4 & UB Semi 2
Day 4: LB R2
Day 5: LB Quarters -> UB Final -> LB Semi
Day 6: LB Final & Grand Final

There are some other ways it could be scheduled depending what priorities are, but the actual schedule is this wacky thing where the LB games in R1 and Quarters are happening on different days.

I don't know about other games but DotA tournaments pretty consistently have these scheduling failures and it drives me nuts.

Yeah i am still baffled at how organisers are so bad at tournaments this far into the "growth" of Esports lol.

If I've got this right:

RNG, Outsiders, and Fnatic are each out if they lose. (RNG and Outsiders play each other; Fnatic can potentially miss by .05 points!).

RNG qualifies to TI with a win (over Outsiders) today.

Outsiders qualifies if they win (against RNG) today and either Fnatic loses tomorrow or Outsiders win again in the LB R2 on Friday.

GG makes it if Fnatic (EDIT: or EG) loses today or if the winner of Outsiders/RNG loses in the LB R2.

EG qualifies for TI if they win today. If they lose, they still qualify if Fnatic loses tomorrow. If EG loses and Fnatic wins, EG still qualifies if Outsiders win today but lose in the LB R2 (to Fnatic).
