Sad thing is that this EG roster will stick together until they bomb out of TI in an embarassing fashion, and then EG will poach another CIS carry to play offlane for them

Well, EG and Liquid out of the tournament. But have to say: for now all teams dropping down from the UB got their wins. So at least the "quality of play" is consistant with the groupstage!

Seeing Matu after that loss in game 3 against BOOM was heartbreaking...after such long time, it seems like he is still taking every loss very personal. Boxi and Matu both looked devastated, hope they can recover till start of the qualifiers, although my heart is with Nigma, but it would be a pity if Matus career would end with bombing out at TI-qualifiers.
Matu played this series so damn well...wondering if Liquid is considering to replace Micke except from playing a broken Puck, he looked very underwhelming in this deciding series. Not buying blink first in that game 3 on Tiny while you have no setup for Mortimer kisses and catch for KotL is a yikes. As much as I like the squad around Insan1a, Micke and boxi, it really feels like they are crumbling under pressure...
Well...EG...that was a shellacking beatdown in game 2 and 3. Huge respect to Entity, would have never expected they are doing that good with a standin and basically playing without a hard carry. Saberlight was in absolut beastmode in game 3! No pun intended

Ana look so rusty. his item selection and his feel of the game is so bad. if he want to play at TI this year, he should start playing dota 12 hour per day. RNG losing is solely because of his play.
EG... when do you learn your lesson. start searching new coach. and my gut feeling is telling me RTZ gonna retire after this TI

man such a disastrous fight from beast coast on their triangle
the lotus snowball saving death prophet into cliff-teezy on K1

I think the best thing to hope for at the moment is that they will be able to channel TI8/TI10 OG-esque energy going through the qualifiers into TI.

Phew, close one for EG! Now hopefully they can get some good scrims in and unleash that potential when it matters in October!

I think that the qualifier grind would have left them stronger and in a better position come TI, but obviously it's not desirable. Let's see how things go!
