Emotions still don't come through imo
Frostbite still useful only for everything but humans

Faru what do you think about Maduro potentially being thrown out of power gaddafi style??

USA has some really fucked up individuals, who is Marco Rubio btw?
Shit can get crazy, its already getting crazy all over the continent tbh, there has been some pretty big riots over here by the venezuela embassy

Marco Rubio is a senator from Florida. I think one of his parents was one of the Cubans who fled to Florida after Castro came to power.
Florida Cubans have a reputation for being pretty right-wing and anti-communist as a result

last i've heard, Florida Cubans are also against immigration, as weird as that sounds.
i googled up a bit, and that guy is crazy, he even went ahead and cite the bible lol

Apex Legends is not on frostbite and is a very good game. It is almost like that entire engine should be left to battlefield games, which it was designed for.

That is Americans in general. We be like:
Immigration is great when my parents did it, because they were worthy people and hard workers. These new immigrants are bad, unlike my parents who were good.

So I am playing Apex Legends with a buddy who hasn’t played 3D shooters since Unreal 4. He is having the same problem with iron sights that most people have with mouse look when they first start playing 3D shooters. He just assumed iron sights were for sniper rifles only, because that is how it worked in the unreal era.
I might have to pick them up a copy of Titan Fall 2 just so they can learn how to shoot the damn guns.
|
Nah just make them play and die a whole bunch. They'll learn. Probably. Why spend money when you can just... not spend money? :D
|
Because Apex legends does not involve a lot of shooting. It involves shooting very breifly and then dying.
|
Yeah thats one of my biggest gripes aswell, our squad has like 25% winrate or something but none of us can shoot for SHIT. Because we just drop super far out and fucking loot/hide until there are 1-3 squads left we dont get better at shooting either. Is this just the BR experience or what? Xd
|
Pretty much. You don’t win them all and the game is as much about planning as it is shooting. Knowing when to push or when to hold up and wait to see where people are is a big part of the game.
The shooting is almost identical to Titan Fall 2, with many of the same or similar weapons. But even then, it can be hard to get experience with enough guns. Though I have had more luck with weapons that us heavy ammo, they also have way more kick and are not great at close range.
But if you want experience, just drop right into the hot zone over and over. Embrace the spicy mess that is the opening, kill some people and then move on. The one recommendation I have is don’t hang out after an early fight. People love to roll up on teams with half health.
|
Remake 2 is super badly balanced tbh, for once they give you little ammo but enough at the start, but they start to give you way too much by the mid to end game... and it goes full action by the mid game
either they balanced it badly, wanted more action by the end game or they balanced it for console players missing 10 shots for every zombie 🤔
|
I have the opposite experience, I try to use almost exclusively the light ammo weapons because I find them really potent with low kickback and flexible ranges (r-99, g7, and r301 specifically).
The loot and hide is really hit or miss imo. It can work a decent amount, but a lot of the time you'll end up against a squad with gold armor and fully kitted weapons and be way out matched. Regen items can be especially in short supply if you're not taking out other squads.
Getting aim experience is tough for sure, but aim definitely is only like a nice to have compared to moving well and engaging well. One of the biggest mistake I know I was making- and still make- is just being where someone is already aiming. Like it sounds obvious, but people do it all the time by doing things like pop out of cover, then in, then back out. The game has so much freedom of movement you should always look for ways to come at unexpected angles. Especially in terms of things like vaulting over an obstacle instead of around. If you start an engagement where you're aiming at someone, but they're not aiming at you it doesn't matter nearly as much if your aim is terrible.
