Gloom Haven update: I’m play a rogue named Inej Brekker and my wife is paying a tinker man named Indie Swift Spindle. Our first dive into a dungeon was to deal with some bandits who figured out how to raise the dead. I quickly learned that the card mechanics for the game allow you to burn through all your action cards burst of glory and then pass out. My wife managed to finish off the bandits by stun locking one of them and killing the other with a flame thrower.

So far – the game is very good and shockingly simple to play. The key parts of the game is that all the information about monsters is split up between the stats and the monster action deck(aka, AI for the monster). It makes new monsters unknown and their actions difficult to gauge.

I can recommend you for a flat in Morningside, 620 plus council tax n utilities, 1 bedroom +living room.

That's kinda cheap but still Hella expensive for a student.
Tho people supposedly aren't as friendly here compared to Glasgow.

I like the idea of gloomhaven and I play board games on occasion, but it has an insane price tag for me.

Tinker is awesome. I'm curious if your wife is gonna build in the supportive direction, or is gonna run into dungeons with an armful of gadgets and pistols.

Am also curious - are you playing with a group that are invested in missed content? Are comfortable sharing their "secret" goals? do you have someone designated DM that succumbs themselves to the spoilers of dungeon setup? Have people looked at all their class cards, or do they wait for levelup to see what they're about?

I played with a group that was very invested in missed content, where we had one person who subjected themselves to all kinds of spoilers because they wanted to be sure we didn't lock ourselves out of content. They were also adamant about not sharing secret goals (I appreciated this) and most of us didn't look at next level's cards until we hit that level.

i ended up playing alot of KOTOR 1(only played KOTOR 2) instead of Kingdoms of Amalur or Divinity Original Sins lol

so nobody informed that i'm getting renewed so ended up texting the head of the local agency to know whether i'm getting renewed or not lol

it'd admittedly be nice if i was based in edinburgh and not glasgow and had the money for it :D but at the moment it doesnt seem like i'll be moving out no, so, we'll see what happens

rofl flight late, arlanda express late, train late, everythinig just late and travelling today has been my worst travelling experience to date despite having overweight baggage on a GLA-DXB-KUL flight once in the past, i just wanna go home, have a nice hot cup of oboy and go to sleep (not really how it should go since oboy's gonna energise me most likely)
