everything is sexist, everything is racist, everything is homophobic and you have to point it all out to everyone all the time
I also wanted to quote a great mind.

can you speak while taking every imaginable individual's feelings into account? who is the authority on who it's okay to offend?
personally my ego and gender identity are hurt when people disagree with me

Also most people understand they are joking about offensive stereotypes and make a difference between those and actual human beings. That's why often people who should be offended are indeed not. Maybe stereotypes aren't important anymore.
I guess it's fine to be LGBT positive if you guys have the energy and time, you do you. You have my complete disinterest as long as my c#male privileges are unaffected and the wokeness doesn't get too overbearing.
e. People's "just and equal society" also sounds like a couple gulags too many to me. how is not using offensive or problematic language equivalent to a gulag?
how is it comparable to a "gestapo environment" as you said in your other post?
that's a ridiculous comparison and your use of hyperbole undermines any effort to take your criticism of this topic seriously
if it's such an imposition to not use the N-word, or call people gay, or not make racist jokes about all asians looking the same, perhaps you should examine your use of language. no one is expecting it to immediately disappear but you should not be dismissive and defensive when people point out that this behavior is problematic and should be changed

Ah well, that's done. Think it went alright, but we'll see. Now to eat lunch, and prepare an experiment for tomorrow. are you good at oral?

I don't feel comfortable when people look at me so if everyone could just keep their heads down that would be nice please think of people like me

If you want to sling around insults like an undisciplined 13 year old that's fine, but don't cloak it under some grander purposes of free speech or fighting the tyranny of the SJWs impeding on your rights to be a dick. It's really not that difficult to watch your language even in a heated moment, and if you really do think you must say that particular racial insult or slur against a sexual identity, it says a lot more about your lack of self-control and basic empathy than how apparently thought police and literal Nazis and Communists are caving in on your right to expression.

Everyone switches up their language during family gatherings or when they are looking for a job. Its not that hard of an ask.

if it's okay to point out that one type of behavior is problematic and should be changed, then it should be okay to make the claim that the people doing the pointing out should be the ones changing their behavior
somebody has to rate the language used, not just the words used but also all and any implications which is where it becomes a question of authority personally I think I should be that supreme authority, because I'm the most smartest and question everything
e. People are already saying context and audience matters, I don't think that's where we started so now I'm confused. forums are hecking trash (sorry for swearing)

+ Show Spoiler [on hjt's posts] +I think it's safe to say that's a little trollish

Maybe I'm just damaged from growing up in hockey culture where you'll hear everything that could possibly be seen as offensive and you quickly learn it doesn't really matter unless you make it matter.
When it gets confrontational and physical on the other hand it's obviously not okay.
Imo it's perfectly fair to say context matters. And that goes both ways. Context matters for those addressed as well as innocent bystanders that are subject of the conversation (to stick to the fairly obvious examples of LGBT people, Muslims, Jews [Jew is a common pejorative term on schoolyards here since as far as I can remember]. Context matters shall not be used as a blanket excuse to allow hateful speech, as much as freedom of expression and the human right to self-determination shall not be a cover for censorship.
The question as to where the line is to be drawn is a very good and important one. Though I freely admit I have no answer to it, I'm rather certain that only through discourse as well as trial and error we will at some point come to an agreement, as a society, + Show Spoiler +(I'm using very broad terms here, yep, sorry. probably somewhere a little sooner than someplace else and to slightly different degrees) what is to be tolerated and what sanctioned.
Nonetheless, as victimized groups (see above) gain means to propagate their voice, be it through greater visibility or good lobbying or a popular / powerful person of that group, their vulnerabilities, troubles, struggle with being stigmatized, used as an insult, being seen as outsiders, curable disease, etc., only then and for example through having mirrored or told the experience of being a part of that group, can we grasp what it means having your sexual orientation shouted by 5.000 happy, drunk, enraged hockey fans at the referee as he, of course, was in the wrong again. "What a fag, right? Oh yes, sorry, you're one of those, I forgot. Sorry."
I don't think you have to necessarily criminalize the past, though I've not thought much of people in the stadium shouting insults at the opponent. And disdained those making ape noises and gestures towards black players.
A big get the fuck out of your god damn comfort zone you fucking prick, to them. (Phrasing it that way of course would be entirely justified, but not productive. When ever has telling the oppressor he's oppressing been productive, right?)

Yo. I’m frantically throwing all my shit together to leave for shrimping (I just finish last net I was doing for other people at 5am this morning) and I have breath of the wild question real quick.
Do I need to buy and download dlcs now or can I play it for a couple weeks and buy dlcs later? I’ve done no research at all cuz I kind of tried to avoid spoilers but do the dlc only come into effect later on? Thx

Removed hero class specific perks, the bonuses now affect all classes.
Doesn't this make the early game even worse or am I actually the only dota player in the universe who actually clicks on heroes and abilities and calculates what it takes to kill someone at a given time.
I suppose a lot of the changes in dota that I hate have been towards more instinctual gameplay; masking the numbers, adding the talents and other variables.

Everyone knows the first thing the Nazis did is stop people being racist, it's a slippery slope

DLCs are two expansions that can be played after finishing the main quest line with no detriment whatsoever. one can be started at about mid way to the end boss. They are not crucial for the BotW experience in my book. [ OH AND HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK DURING SHRIMPING SEASON!
May this one be even better than the last!

I agree. These discussions are tricky though because they become very US centric while the LGBT community has been represented well in Sweden during my life time (no one gave a shit about religion here until recently) so it's difficult to relate.
My hockey anecdote was from a players perspective (trash talk gets pretty ruthless and overall locker room culture is pretty dumb lol). Not like sport fans shout fag to people in harmony or that you can go around and do it in general, that's not okay of course because it becomes confrontational.
On the note of religion, jews are getting shafted hard thanks to our imported population. It's fucked up.

Denmark has had police guarding synagogues for a few years now i think ever since they were a target for terrorism. Pretty messed up situation.
