Last time i drived around that was a big problem and made me really nervous everytime. Dunno how my brother and literally everybody else who drives can handle it like it's nothing. Besides like unleashing i don't have a real need for a car since i can just commute everywhere without problems. | ||

Plus everything outside the city is just miles and miles of nothing with no mass transport between towns at all. Like you could do it, but you'd have to live on a trunk line, work nearby or on said trunk line, and have no reason to leave the metropolitan area even semi-regularly. | ||

Ofc buying a car and maintaining it goes beyond the simple petrol price but imo its worth it. each km by car costs around 0,3 €, ofc depending on driving habits and size/efficiency/annual driving distance of the car. purchasing cost, insurance, maintenance, fuel to name the biggest factors. unless special conditions apply, like inheriting a car and thus having a super duper cheap insurance and no upfront costs, your calculation is a "Milchmädchenrechnung".  Apart from that I second your statement of hassle free transport between or to "remote" places. regarding killing a dog out of spite. the level of pettiness rivals that of trump + Show Spoiler + disclaimer: no real thought went into this comparison | ||
