Modern tyres have a surprising amount of grip in worse conditions so it's actually not that bad if you're a decent driver (just drive safe). It depends on the actual conditions of course, non-studded tyres work better in loose snow, or snowy roads in general while studded ones are obviously better for icy and packed snow. Studded tyres are all around better of course in a proper winter climate. Oh and the safety features of your car matter too. Not using winter tyres at all sounds a bit moronic though so I wouldn't recommend. | ||

So unnecessarily risky. Anyhow I beat my first divine beast in BOTW, only at the tenth attempt or so. Man did I suck yesterday. + Show Spoiler + The elephant it was. It was the arrow that killed the enemy which also broke my last bow. A second before I'd have died to the energy beam. Man that was close. Game is good. Very good. Lots of fun. | ||

There is an old dude painter dude who will ask for your help. Its an easy task and will help you with armor and other things. Plus the old painter dude is cool. Always check you what he is painting. Dad can't drive anymore because of eye problems, so the van's practically just my car now. After I get rid of the van (breaks down, etc) I'd probably be in a better place to say. Guys who live in big cities: what do you use your cars for, typically? And could you feasibly take public transit everywhere? If I go to a big city, it'd be either Ottawa or Toronto. Any farther than that, and I'll worry about it then. | ||

Bless costco's free replacements I live around NYC but use my car for mainly autocross/track work on the weekends. Groceries if I am feeling lazy but finding a parking spot usually takes longer than just walking. Cars are indispensable when it comes to freedom imo but I am a bit biased since I like cars and probably spend more than the average consumer. I will say though, having a car in high school/college was super awesome. | ||

also I drive 20-25k miles a year so I'm sure that doesn't help either my old car was a 1990 Accord and wow maintenance on that car was ultra cheap compared to now | ||
