Besides my overcoat for work, most of my clothes is kinda cheap 🤷🏻♂️ I do waste a lot of money in alcohol and parties, well, not anymore, new gf for a month now  | ||

It's pretty hard to have an entire wardrobe of high fashion items unless you make a 7 figure salary or something ridiculous. It's pretty common for the pleb fashion enthusiasts to just drop money on 1-5 items a year (usually used stuff on grailed tbh). Also I personally would never drop a lot of money on pants/shirts although I think it's ok for nice footwear/coats. Most of my friends that are into something like techwear only have one full outfit  And yea it's different depending on what you spend your money on. I drink 1-2 times a year so I probably save a few thousand compared to people that drink/smoke every weekend. I also don't go out to fancy restaurants multiple times a week. I can justify dumping money into video games and some nice clothing, but others might not be able to. | ||

I've spent a ton of money on Dota 2 stuff (had some CS items but I sold most of those). My PC was $3k+ in total. I recently spent a bunch of money on a nice fight stick. I have multiple keyboards/mice that are all fairly expensive too. Shit adds up. Might seem like a waste to some people, but I can justify it. Before I got into gaming I sunk tons of money into my guitars and all the accessories involved in that world. My point being, everyone has something that they needlessly sink money into | ||

My cello cost me 5k, the bow was 500, and the case was 700. Strings are over 60, and maintenance is 60-100 a year. So I agree, shit adds up. But if you think about the amount of time I've had, and will continue to use the instrument, it'll be fine. | ||
