would the response time have a big impact on fighting games?
When I play MKX on my TV instead of my Monitor I swear I drop a lot of combos I normally have no issue hitting. I didn't know if it was the TV or I was just playing like a monkey. I've only played on my TV a couple of times so my sample size was too small to know if I just played like shit or there was an actual difference.
I'm not sure about the response time of my TV but I'm assuming its 5ms+ where my computer monitor is like 2ms i think. Both are 1080 60hz (sadface).

I mean creams we play melee on CRTs for a reason

a lot of tv's have big input lag unless you use a crt then it's instant 2ms g2g pixel response or w/e is not actually the input lag btw it's a meaningless advertising figure actual input lag will be much higher than 2 or 5ms (neither of which u could likely distinguish)

All modern, non-CRT TVs have latency in some form, that's why they Rockband had the calibration system after the first game. From my understand, Parappa the Rapper is unplayable unless you have an old TV. Same with Tony Hawk.

I used a 280x for awhile and has no driver issues, its been quite awhile since the shit amd driver days.
The only dumb thing about amd drivers is the default underscan.

The selection will change every 30 minutes, presenting everyone in the community with the same 15 games at any given time, making it easy for all matches to fill quickly.
To help foster a community for even the smallest of games, each Custom Game has a dedicated chat room that you can set your client to always join.
I love how they're putting emphasis on making sure new games get discovered. Volvo too good.

honestly just allowing people to broadcast their lobbies does a half-decent job of that already but we'll see how this works out everybody remembers the sc2 arcade disaster lol

I really just want invoker wars, but someone might make other stuff thats cool.

enfos, pudge wars, uther party
although I'll admit a lot of the appeal of wc3 customs was the hilarious models and voice lines that they used from WC3 itself
|
Also, we were younger, didn't have much money and there were very few free multiplayer games.

Almost all multiplayer games at the time were "free".

As much as I can't wait to see the old stuff come back, I really want to see what new things can be done.
Also a new RTS. We need a Dota RTS.

It's just a shame that no map editor can be as simple as it was in WC3.
