ATLEAST THEY DROPPED THE GREEN TINT, atleast it appears that way from the trailer yeah your right that makes this game awful good point

But in the end, they can justify anything they want because the world is crazy.

This is the sort of high level discussion I come for on the internet.

It's a minor gripe that annoyed me in 3 and it seems to persist in 4
Atleast one can hope F4 uses a new engine.

I just wish fallout had something resembling an interesting environment.

i could never get into fallout because i'm just not interested in the themes. The USA 50s vibe meshed with post apocalyptic steampunk, just super meh to me. I've only heard good things about the games though so maybe I should try someday despite my bias.

IMO just play the original 2 they have a ton more charm and I prefer the Classic RPG gameplay

I liked the idea with the vaults and the fucked up experiments but also was never really a fan of the setting. For an open world to run around in TES was just a much better place.

They are fun games and FO3 was sort of amazing in its time. I enjoyed my time with it and had some amazing moments. The key with the game is to play the way you want and ignore all guides and others opinions. The game is not hard, so there is no reason to min-max and its more fun to create your super dumb wasteland battle god.

It might just be my weird build but I found trying to kill anything at all a chore even with VATS. This was in vanilla FO3 and I did go with low Endurance and Strength for shits and giggles though.
