All these AirBnB apartments charge 1,000+ for 2 weeks because they think they have prime location at 50+ sq.m. It's ridiculous. Its probably is too expensive like any place you can rent. When you are on your own 50 m² is all you really need 9 out of 10 times,
1,100 euros for 2 weeks is ridiculously expensive regardless of its location within the city. That's about 2,435 euros for a full month (4 weeks).
The place I got in February is about two stops from downtown, 1 stop from my workplace and is about 790 euros (utilities not included) and 61 sq.m.
That's me being lucky, but typically places are about 1,200 for 55 to 70 sq.m

The prices are what people are willing to pay for it. Apparantly alot want to be a hipster
E: numeo says 3 room apartment costs around 2200 euros in copenhagen and 1700 outside of the city, expensive but the wages are probably also alot higher overthere.

Just go for the Hostel life for a couple o weeks yo. DanHostel I spent many a night while searching for a room as a student (fucking hard as a foreign male student, even if Norwegian) back when I lived in CPH. People would steal my shoes at night, goddamn annoying that was. At least we had some batshit insane parties with people from crazy coutries. But then I teamed up with 2 girls and it took 2 days to find an apartment.

I can't go to a hostel because I have a 1,900 euro PC with two monitors. That shit would be stolen immediately while I'm at work.

I had Deloitte search for two months straight and it was generally more 1,200 to 1,500 euros in the main copenhagen area. I could be wrong, but I spent a lot of time looking at apartments.
Just for the record, I am already in Denmark, Copenhagen and I am already working, this is just a two-week thing while my new apartment becomes available in Feb.

I'm not sure it makes sense to extrapolate the price from two weeks to a whole month. Maybe its still too expensive, but it makes sense that renting something for a short period would cost more per week than a long term contract.

For most apartments, if you rent two weeks or a month, the proportion of price is kept. They say like X per week. Sometimes people make deals for a monthly rent, but not all the time.

Oh yeah guys, I've finished my story about the closing of GD, all 4 parts total at a bit over 8000 words, it's in my newest blog.
Just a little plug in case anyone here ignores blogs but might be interested in it. It's not very good.

Some people think that GD is fun and amusing. Really the only reason we all come back here is because like the people. There is literally nothing else we do here but talk about random bullshit and Harry Potter.

GD is shit. But it's our shit, and my GOD, we are going to eat that shit up and LOVE every single coprophiliac second of it.
