There's some people in my family that are taller on both sides (a second cousin is 6'7, another relative was 6'8). I think I'm the tallest person in my family still living though. I did notice that I actually weigh in pounds what my height is in cm... which I only bothered to look up for the europeans.
I like my current height... if I got an inch taller I would run into the tops of some doorways that I barely miss currently. I already have a scar on my forehead from running into a lowered ceiling when I was like 15. An inch shorter would be more practical (fewer back problems, circulatory issues, etc.) but I like my current height.
And yeah, I am hella tall. My gf is quite short (and not asian, she's of mostly germanic descent. I'm cherokee/irish... which gives me more incentive than most to dislike europeans).

Mine's almost a foot and a half shorter. I have to do more than move my neck. Been dating her for 3 years, been a really good experience. The height thing is only a little bit annoying

Its a good idea as long as they police it and make it so people are kicked out for being ass hats. That was the main problem with the old system, people just in it for the E-peen points. And its good they have a cut off of 3K, since below that it would be no fun for anyone.
