Yea I don't think rubberband was really a real thing in that c9 vs iG g2, at least in terms of the result of the game. Imo the game was pretty close to being in the bag for c9, if they got that rosh I don't think there was any way for iG to successfully defend their base. And also I don't think iG should have had any chance to win a fight at that point, but with Phoenix egg on cd c9 got way too overeager when they saw an opportunity to hex the Ember, the hex got purged by Burning and suddenly several members of c9 were walking up a ramp against Ember, Zeus etc. with Fata sectioned off on the other side of the fight. Had they just retreated and waited for Phoenix egg to come up I don't think iG has a real chance in that game, but after that 3-0 + rosh it was just the lineups that dictated that the game was going to be very hard for c9.
