i guess attributes doesn't abbreviate well so we abbreviate to stats but still.
I'm not seriously complaining just commenting on the dissonance.

Not to mention that would be perfectly fine with the dota definition, since all attributes are used to generate a few other attributes. | ||

Edit: SKC, I meant in general. It depends on the system. Of course having high charisma doesn't factor into combat stats. But it will add to social skills, which are also "stats" in the general term. | ||

And you also have streamlined RPGs where the main stats are basically the only stats you ever use, so they aren't used for anything else. | ||

In the second edition of oWoD, movement and defense were calculated from several of your primary attributes and perks. Same with health. I'm with you on oWoD. The original was filled with dark gothic themes and was at times fairly silly. There's a RPG PC game made based on one of the systems from oWoD and it's honestly one of the best RPGs made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire:_The_Masquerade_–_Bloodlines As far as the tabletop variants, Vampires was the most fun to play imho as long as you had a good game-master and played with people who got the setting, if you had someone trying to play a lolrandumb malkavian everything was ruined. Werewolf could also be amazing if you had a gamemaster that could make the umbra part of the game just a bit creepy/weird. | ||
