What I meant is that the community was way slower at figuring out what was good and what was bad and it was spreading even slower. The patch was as competitive as it is now, but the competition was WAY less competitive than it is now. People (pros included) didn't put nearly as much effort into practicing and improving. I mean nostalgia is cool and all, but be reasonable. Dota is peoples jobs now, it wasn't nearly the case back then. If you took Vigoss from back then and put him on Dota 2's ladder, he wouldn't be 5k after he adjusted to the new engine, etc. Yes, people were that bad and you know that. | ||
