have you played the outer wilds dlc? very good. there are some horror sequences if you're not into that but otherwise i liked it a lot
been saving it for when i feel like i need it the most lol.
also (no spoilers) but i have heard a few times that it has these horror sequences and I am pretty curious to see what they're about lol.
I'm 100% gonna play it tho the base game is easily my fave game ever.

the giant fish, the black hole, and just navigating the big ocean planet were all terrifying to me. Also being in the caves of the twin planets as they start filling with sand is very stressful lol

in the base game I thought the angler fish were mostly annoying/finicky rather than being spooky, but for me, parts of the DLC were actually scary. Horror stuff is really not my jam, I’m a big baby, but even then I overall enjoyed the DLC
They were calling for a ton of if by me as well, we ended up just getting like 3.5" of snow, and then another 2-3 inches of rain so it's all just soggy and wet and awful.
