Anyone following Amazon's "New World" launch today? its sitting at around 40% on steam with most of the negative reviews complaining about literal multi-hour wait times to queue into the servers lol Oxenfree is an amazing experience, give it a shot I'll check it out m80 I started getting into Escape from Tarkov over the summer. Has anyone played it? Tarkov became too hard to keep up with, you end up getting bulldozed by big chad squads with high level armour. So I've been playing SPTarkov, a singleplayer mod for it.

I had no idea that there were independent mods for Tarkov. I wonder if there are private multiplayer servers as well?

I've been playing some War Thunder recently, I started unlocking the British tree as the USSR became a bit tedious, and so far I'm really enjoying the UK stuff, they have a lot of capable, fun vehicles in the low tiers.

idk looks like it's not really on founding but more the period of degeneration of the empire from the pov of trantor

Wait do people call that series "Founding" instead of "Foundation" in other countries? I am just curious, I've never seen that before.
I haven't watched it yet but I love Foundation and really really really want it to be good. Feel the same way about the WoT Amazon series.

I'm going to be so disappointed if it ends up being terrible after such a long wait. The good news is that the cast is fairly talented, and the showrunner is a legit mega fan of the series and really seems to understand the finer points of the world/characters that Jordan created.
The trailer was promising at the very least. Just have a few minor gripes about it, but nothing that was like "FUCK IT'S GONNA SUCK".

still hyped lol Yea that’s one of the minor gripes I mentioned. Hoping it gets better in later seasons if the series does well. They still have time to work on it for now at least.
Also wondering how they are going to skip the Caemlyn storyline. Elayne and a few others haven’t even been cast yet, and the first season is covering stuff from the first three books.
Edit: also Mat was cast so well but apparently they had to re-cast him for season 2. Reasons unknown.

I think it's a bot but I'm not positive lol My wife is a huge fan of the books and has been pretty happy with it so far. I've never read any of it, didn't even know what it was but it has kept me invested / interested in where it goes.
It's better than a lot of things I've watched lately but idk if that's really saying much lmao

I definitely felt like they were trying too hard to force a "live spectator" TI this year.

No but for real, it probably did take that long to get a guarantee from local authorities that their play gets the green light without canceling the event if covid numbers suddenly rise again. Turns out I was right.
In hindsight, it should have been clear. Valves hands off approach to everything means that people will take as many shortcuts as possible. To enforce a professional bubble with everything you have to rule with iron fists. Something the Dota community is very alergic to. It was a lose, lose situation from the beginning.
