And then it hits Series X and PS5 territory with just 256gb. It won't affect anything, but it'll be a cool little gadget, might get one... MAYBE Switch KIIIINDA gets a pass considering their games are a lot smaller. | ||

like, there has to be some sort of problems with the architecture, since 1tb of storage easily fits in something like this these days, havent looked into it but + Show Spoiler + ![]() and even 1tb ssds are dirt cheap these days and tiny apparently they use nvme, idk why sth like an older sata ssd isnt quick enough for sth like that im sure there may be a reason | ||

The 64 GB model does use a SATA SSD rather than NVME, I expect that at $400 they chose to prefer CPU/GPU performance over storage capacity. The flash memory used for storage in thumb drives of those sizes is unreliable, I wouldn’t think it’s suitable for something that’s gonna get read/written a lot like a console | ||
