Guyyyyys I've got a proper coffee grinder from my family this Christmas.
Gifted myself a corresponding Espresso machine and now I'm full of caffeine idk what to do!
Even more content with Home-Office now. I feel so happy and lucky that I work in an industry where that's possible...
The usually happy go lucky cashiers at my usual grocers are really worn out :-/ I really appreciated the friendliness they radiated, unfortunately they also seem to be more downtrodden since the beginning of December...

The wife and I moved in the current place roughly 1.75 years ago now. And we've yet to use up our first plastic wrap roll I bought early after moving in. Just feels kinda eco (disregarding the long distance travel coffee from Cuba I consumed lots of today).

So far my homemade creme fraiche experiment is swimming along fine. Gave it a quick taste about 12 hours in and it's nice and thickened with a pleasant hint of sourness without going putrid. It's a fun experiment to make superior sour cream if you want to give it a try.

I've been working out a bit with the Ring Fit for Switch every other day for the last couple of weeks, I'm also going on walks on the days I don't excercise at home and I completely stopped eating potato chips as well as sweets. I'm still trying to fix my sleep schedule but I've been feeling pretty good lately.

I also stopped eating crisps the other month. Usually I was at the snacks aisle and when I felt I needed to do me a favour, do something good for me (i.e. mental health, treat, something like that), I bought a pack of crisps. And then ate them in one sitting, feeling not so hot afterwards.
One day I thought to myself, I want to do something nice for myself. And considered crisps, but also was like: this didn't really do me any good in the past, maybe eat something healthy if you want to do feel good.
And that was like, in October and I haven't bought crisps at all since then. Last time I ate a couple - after being offered some when I was helping friends move (freaking heavy furniture

) - I did not enjoy them.

I can't really get away from sweets during christmas time though, it's absolutely impossible. Especially since my wife gifted me an amazing advent calender with daily sweets

Best of success to you though.

@phoenix: I love that you are so experimental with food stuff. Going for / daring to try more complex things!

Absolutely approve of cutting out "treats" from your diet. The sugar/carbs really fucks with your sense of hunger.

I got clean early last year and had a really good rhythm going of basically not eating at all while at work and going to sleep at exact same time every day, but then we swapped to work from home and now im fat and dumb
