Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by PKD (while bladerunner is based on it, they have very different stories)
Fifth Head of Cerberus by Gene Wolfe (only if you like short but extremely difficult language-wise reads)
Fantasy:
Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman - a psuedo sequel to American Gods, it's a nice and short comedy that's a standalone.

That book was not difficult language wise, it was probably the most I've ever been insulted by the quality of prose. It read like a hasty first draft AND a bad stream of consciousness book.
