LOL. I wanted one with a keyboard drawer but eventually realized it was way cheaper to buy an attachable keyboard drawer and put it onto one of the infinite ~48 inch desks that don't have one (seems to be about 50% cheaper and probably wind up with a better keyboard drawer).

Decided to go with "Coleshome Computer Desk 47 inch Modern Sturdy Office Desk Study Writing Desk for Home Office,Teak" , which can apparently support 330 pounds, and a 3m keyboard drawer. I say three monitors but one is just a 13inch laptop, so they'll all fit.

Do you american boys still use checks over there? The whole idea sounds completely insane to me, like something from the Victorian era. How I imagine it works is that you just go to a bank and go 'this guy promised he will give me this much money and signed this piece of paper as proof, can you make it happen?' That's wild.

A lot of business' still use checks for product purchases afaik (at least we did at the bar I worked at). Some people still pay rent with checks too

My company takes them from accounts in good standing, joe average walking in off the street is told cash or card though.

Also postdated cheques for rent is as fire-and-forget as scheduled etransfers imo. Have also been paid by cheque for a couple different jobs. No preference here really, i don't hate the physicality of a cheque and act of depositing money, even though having to physically go to a bank (though you dont even have to do that anymore) is inconvenient.
