I'm not saying that China is right in this instance or that the protests are an independence movement, I just get why China would be sensitive to the perception of foreign influence given the history of Hong Kong. Congratulations faru!!! If you go back into history there are just as many cases of China (or more precise it's predecessors) meddling in their neighbouring countries' sovereignty. That is just how it goes.

+ Show Spoiler + This story about a american diplomats wife running over a kid in London and fleeing to the United States is absolutely insane. Trump invited the parents to a surprise meeting with the woman who killed their kid at the White House. The parents of British teenager Harry Dunn met with President Trump at the White House on Tuesday, only to be told that the woman British police say was involved in the car crash that killed their son was in the same building and ready to meet them. Dunn, 19, was killed Aug. 27 when his motorcycle was struck by a car that police say was driven by 42-year-old American Anne Sacoolas, who was driving on the wrong side of the road at the time. Sacoolas, the wife of a U.S. government official, claimed diplomatic immunity under international law, which allowed her to return to the United States. White House officials were skeptical of having Dunn’s parents and Sacoolas in the West Wing at the same time, but Trump was keen on having a “hug and make up moment,” according to a person with knowledge of the discussions. AD Trump believed he could solve the problem, the official said. Appearing on “CBS This Morning” on Wednesday, Dunn’s parents, Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn, described the meeting, explaining that they had no idea they were meeting with the president and had been invited to the White House to meet with “a senior official.” Dunn’s parents say Trump offered his condolences before quickly alerting them that Sacoolas was in the building. “It took your breath away when he mentioned it the first time,” Dunn’s father said. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2019/10/16/trump-stuns-harry-dunns-parents-says-woman-crash-that-killed-their-son-is-nearby-able-meet/

I don't know who needs to see this but legendary twitter comedian Dril has a Alex Jones-style parody liveshow now and the first ep is up on YouTube.
