im finally back from my vacation in london which i guess i didnt even mention here but i watched Wicked and it was hella wicked (haha sorry dont kill me pls) and considering ive been to london like 8 times without ever being a tourist i became a tourist this time, super cool stuff also spent more money than I had intended but I always do

There was way too many small ones like 100~200 grams

The ones with good size were between 500 and 700 grams though, was pretty damn delicious.

Defended the thesis. Made the small corrections, just gonna do another readthrough of the problematic sections again this week and let the supervisor read it.

Really happy, but still haven't felt the weight lift off my shoulders yet.

I wonder when I'll realize something: that I'm free.

Also the company will sponsor additional grad school. Maybe I can con some poor supervisor into taking a part-time PhD student, but I think I'm too burned out from school right now to do a good job with it. Maybe in a few years' time or if my manager requests me to get better trained.

Wow, this came out of nowhere. RIP Geoff. Hard to believe just a few days ago he was playing D&D on stream and having fun. I knew he had some health issues with infections lately, but for a person of his age it's still a complete shock. There was a TL thread from a one post account yesterday that said he passed and that got closed immediately, and I thought this was some joke playing on that. Still trying to digest this.
