One out of 4 is not mockery we all have our fingers crossed here! @teddy Gamersnexus did a comparison of the 3600 and 3600x and comes to the conclusion that the x for 50 bucks doesnt give you any benefit in games.

according to some reviews ryzen 3700x seems to be the best value? also i googled which gpu to pair with a 3700x and it tells me 5700 xt or a 2070 super but i think thats a bit too much?

If you have 330 bucks to spent I would deffo go for it. Idk about the gpu, but my gut says buy nothing below the equivalent of a good 3rd party manufactured gtx 1080 On July 19 2019 04:53 CorsairHero wrote: 3600 is the value one since the 3700x gives like 1% more frames as for the gpu, what res and refresh do you use I don't think you can go wrong with more cores here especially if he's planning on streaming

im just wondering if the 3600 is really not gonna be outdated in 1-2 years honestly idc much about streaming at all, my current mediocre i5 can handle it completely fine cuz i have shitty internet so cant stream any reasonable quality anyhow

Intel chips suffer some slowdown from their original benchmarks due to spectre patches. I think AMD is the better value, but I don't think there's a big difference. For gaming they're basically equal but AMD is better for non-gaming thing.
