The question about mechanics is interesting because you would think WotC wouldn't want to keep promoting a version of the game several editions behind, with really confusing stuff for new player, but updating it to a current edition would kinda suck imo. Them implementing a completelly new style of play would also be weird with how tied the series is to DnD.

If it turns out good i'll be happy but for now I'll remain catious. EG in the Grand Finals is super cool, and way overdue ![]()

They will probally reuse most characters and keep the same theme, they wouldn't throw away so much nostalgia value, but it really is hard to accept the main character being reset, and you can't really escalate the power level even more, so the main character kinda has to be someone else. Im not even sure if WotC has ever licensed a video game property that used a ruleset they didn't own. Larian could be forced to use an updated DnD ruleset. Faru might be right tho. It is a Kotaku article so who knows

I've recently been semi let down by bioware. First in not getting more Andromeda story content and then with Anthem being a buggy mess. This time I'm not on the hype train cause I never really understood the party synergy thing for BG 1/2 and never stuck out with the game to remember enough of the Story between playing and not playing the game. Maybe it's time for a story recap on youtube... Any suggestions?

... Sources internal to Blizzard confirmed the reason for the latest round of departures as being linked to low morale, especially surrounding the development of the esports divisions of their games. “People are really getting tired of working for Pete Vlastelica,” one source said. “The focus has become commercializing the esports titles instead of making good programs for the community. Many people internally are laying that on Pete, and it has crushed morale among the Call of Duty and Overwatch teams especially.” ... https://www.dexerto.com/esports/sources-high-profile-blizzard-staff-leave-morale-problems-678944 Doesn't surprise me given how Blizzard esports are basically kept afloat by injecting money for games that just aren't that popular for the level of investment they receive.

indicators like not having a return ticket or writing stupid shit in the forms you have to fill out might make for an unexpected return journey on the same day.
