hmmm watching CLG vs EG is quite interesting. CLG supports is HORRIBLE but not a lot of people could judge how a support player should play so no one is available to critic them. Funny bc this actually show how good Paijkat is: he pick the supports hero that has huge impact into the game without much effort require in execution. If only the rest of CLG level up(especially Misery) then they would be extremely serious thread in TI2.
Mean while EG pretty much cant shine without maelk... the pick and the lanning just doesnt feel right and that has been the biggest factor out of all of their wins so far. Should not be expecting any Night stalker focus strat out of EG either simply bc Fear is not an aggressive carrier type of player. He does play greedy to TP and get gold but to initiate gank like xboct/paijkat is a different story. Universe/Bulba could play pretty well if coordinated but Demon has an extremely high risk high reward style which often create a big hole for enemy to lead/comeback. Overall the current trend they are showing is very similar to the old way DK play where they focus on early lanning phase picks and mid game 4 men push 1 man farm.

misery has flashes of brilliance and games where it shows just how not good a player can be.

does anyone know what's the timezone in which the international 2 will be played, and the exact timings in +8 GMT (or -1 KST)?? i want to catch the finals but i may have to apply for an off-day so that i won't be in camp :<
|
Well the prelims always start at 17 CET and the playoff at 18 CET
that would be 0 KST and 1 KST

i can't find the proper format + timing on the TI2 page @_@
|
The playoff start on 31 August and goes till september 2.
I guess for KST, this means that the TI will start at 1. September and ends at september 3.

just wanna ask a quick question
in the olden days, if you maxed flesh heap before getting hood (or old aegis) or cloak, the magic resistance from the items wouldn't stack
has that changed now?

Templar Assassin
1. Does shift-queuing Meld after Blink work? I've tried it out but once in a while I still attack first after blinking instead of immediately Melding. Don't know if it's the game or my execution.
2. Is MoM viable on her? No one anywhere has posted about using MoM on TA but I thought the synergy between MoM and Refraction might have some merit. Obviously if Refraction is broken too quickly, you're going to die but even without MoM I die if I don't use Refraction properly. Figured MoM would amplify the benefit in those engagements when Refraction is used well.
Any other execution/strategy tips/tricks on TA would be appreciated. She's fun. Blinking into a teamfight to get a perfect Meld to pierce through multiple targets is really cool.

2. deso gives better dps, and note that the spill damage is pure so the higher the initial hit, the better. meld +refraction + deso deals better dps. TA is all about hitting hard, not hitting fast.
