Doom is usuable only if he has a non-negative base armor, Tinker is ridiculous in dota 2 because it was a strong hero to begin with but dota2 allows for better stacked ancients and higher march dmg with a more reliable spread. Rubrick is of course very strong, but I don't think there;s anything wrong with heroes like tinker leshrac invoker and rubrick as carry-casters that are flexible and extremely strong, especially given how those heroes very much reward skill and lead to very interesting plays. I honestly think we should be buffing heroes instead of nerfing unique heroes that are both interesting and highly skill-dependent

I wouldn't say buffing skill heroes - more like nerfing skillless heroes eg. AM, Viper, Riki, PA, where all you need is a decent 20min farm and it's pretty much GG unless the other teams have some sort of skill and get disables/shut you down first etc.

I dunno what I'm doing wrong. Get some benchmarks. Play vs bots and find out how fast you can take down Roshan solo if you're doing well, then try to get to that point in real games. Obviously will be different depending on how hard enemies try to shut you down, but if you have benchmarks, at least you can adapt. I'm pretty sure you can take down Roshan before the 12 minute mark, at least.
Having a few benchmarks like this as a jungler helps a lot IMO, since you can look at the clock and your current situation and get a good grasp of whether or not you can be agressive etc.

If you nerf them, they'll simply disappear. I think it's a much better approach to enable heroes that aren't that popular, like Jakiro, Sven, etc.

This seems to be a problem on your end and not with the game design. Why not play one of those "skillless" heroes yourself? If it's because you don't think playing them is "fun," then you obviously value having fun more than winning (so why complain then?). Either shut down their farm or stop complaining that other players/teams are better than you are.
Honestly you remind me of those low-MMR pub players who don't do anything about Lycan freefarming jungle but then complain when he comes out with incredible farm and three levels on your entire team. He's not a broken hero, you're just bad at dealing with him (although yes, Lycan -is- a really strong hero).

Rosh time for:
Ursa: 6-7 mins Lycan: 7-8:45 mins Huskar/SK: 15 mins Venom(with help and time): 10-12 mins
All assuming no death happen and room to farm allowed.

venom doesn't need help and can solo him already at lvl 7
|
Honestly the only hero I'd really like to see back in the meta is nevermore. Everything else seems rather dull. Not a fan of lone druid and tinker though I'll be honest.

SF has seen quite a bit of play lately TBH

All assuming no death happen and room to farm allowed. Is this laning lycanthrope? Pure jungle lycanthrope will have trouble getting the levels for this in time. And are you including the time it takes to kill him?
And you forgot enigma.

I think quite a bit is the wrong term. Maybe "not absolute zero" would be better. 6 times in the month of august out of all games.

sf was picked -273 times on the celsius scale

Soloing Huskar with lifesteal + PT takes Roshan down easily at 10 mins or so too.

All assuming no death happen and room to farm allowed. 7-8 minutes is absolute earliest you can do it on Lycan, but doing it at ~11-12 mins with Medallion+Vlad's is much safer and much faster.

Couldn't invoker do it at like less than 10 minutes also? with medallion obviously

Not without a few consumables and only if you had gone Exort for the spirits.
edit: even then it may be tough.
