lycan is still stupid but hes not the same kind of silliness as void and tinker

He's very strong in pubs, but it's perfectly reasonable to see him not picked. The exact opposite is true of Void and Tinker.

I disagree; I find his stupid building-killing power to be much more dangerous in pubs than any Tinker player I've come across. I think there are three reasons he isn't picked more in pubs: the FotM chasers are playing other heroes, lots of people don't like building Necro, and hitting buildings and running away is super fuckin' boring if you can't TP around and get all the farm.

Number one reason: pub teams are notoriously bad at organizing for a given goal, and that slows down the Lycan push because he doesn't have a team to run interference. Slower push=more time for the pubstomp heroes Tinker and Void to get fed, and those two are pretty great at picking off an errant Lycan.

never had an issue with Lycan TBH. People just really hate real lockdown against him for some reason. Granted he's still pretty good, but hardly the auto win that he was with the bonus health with his ult.
Tinker also really screws with him though. Probably an even bigger reason than any that he isn't being picked.

Tinker and Void both make his life miserable. Also, the presence of strong offlane duos make him weaker. It's tough to get off to the start you need in a pub when you're against Razor+1.

Thank god I thought I was the only one for a moment.
Thousands of viewers on dead streams. Wonder what's happening.

OMG, Yes. LD + GODZ

Idk whether I'd call tinker a pubstomp hero. He's a problem because he's annoying as hell for both teams, not because he's particularly strong.

Iono. He's as much a pubstomp hero as void is. He isn't terribly strong early, but you can't forget about him, or he's going to get up his first few items, show up out of nowhere, and obliterate somebody on your team. In Void's case it's MoM mjollnir and purple balls, but in tinker's its travels dagon eblade. And like void, if the player is crap at the hero this won't happen, but in the hands of the accomplished tinker/void pubstomper, it almost invariably will.

Dunno about that. If you are not a programmer, will you really care that much about databases?
Isn't it better to know website building stuff like Html/Css and some Javascrit/jQuery than some SQL?
Lot's of things have a web API now, so you just need to handle the JSON/XML.

I am not a programmer, I work in logistics. The languages I have use of are (oracle) SQL and VBA for the Office programs. This is since I need to get/transform data that isn't available through the normal methods and instead have to get it from the tables themselves. Will probably change in the future but it is my current reality.
An example. I am among other things responsible for the flow of some packaging material. There is no user interface built for doing a daily inventory of just those. So I pull the data that is entered each day from the tables, display and log them in excel. Then I have long term graphs to be able to see usage trends. Nobody will build an interface that does this for me, there are too few users, costs are too high. Takes like 5h to build for myself instead of getting IT involved.

Lot's of things have a web API now, so you just need to handle the JSON/XML. databases is incredibly important, and a lot of high paying jobs are simply there to ensure that the database runs quickly and smoothly. web development has jobs yes, but i think its pretty safe to say that they have a lower salary on average. even some business people learn simple SQL

so i should go with the C# course and try to get familiar with SQL eventually?

Pub teams are also notoriously bad at organizing to defend any given goal. Void and Tinker are good against Prophet, and I'm not sesing any lack of that particular hero in my games.

Deep satisfaction of winning against a fed void. I demand x4 mmr for that game.

anyone watching big daddy stream? literally worse than trench. His morph and drow farming woods ALL GAME, even after 6 slotted. Then morph goes solo rosh, denies aegis and sells cheese.
