on another note. Made it to Vancouver. Boarding my seattle flight in 10 minutes. It's like 40k, but I pull down massive over time. This might be the year they put me in salary to stop me from doing that.

If I was 26, making 40K a year, I'd be desperate to improve that cuz by 30 i'd be making 0K a year and unless I had a college degree my prospects would be slim
But I do get where ur coming from, I just don't think that that mindset is where players are.

And it's all semantics at this point on why people would leave or stay. But I do believe that the era of quitting your current team and forming a new one to try and make it to TI the next year are almost over. It is a very risky thing to do and any seasoned player would know that. If they could be signed to another team they liked, maybe.
Edit:2.5k euros is close to what I make a year without OT and bonuses. You don't just walk away from that without a plan. And you think about it real hard if it's just over drama and shit that could be worked out be both getting a little hammered and putting on boxing gloves
2nd edit: fuck that is before prize money. Damn. He is doing well for himself if that is true. wait what don't want to pry but you only make ~3.5k usd a year? thats way below federal min wages wtf or did you mean 3.5 a month after social security and taxes withheld and 401k deductions etc
e: ya you meant per month

E: @cecek Opterown posted this full schedule with english casters: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Br9S4S3CcAARM7z.jpg:large So yeah you can see the pairings. They are fairly fixed.

the core navi boys have made enough money to never work again in their respective countries it would be very surprising if they stick with a team that doesnt work anymore for a few bucks a month. i also dont think that pros are driving by rational thoughts about how they can sustain their living standards and such. they are driven by the urge to be the best at what they do. if it were any different they wouldnt have become pro in the first place.

I guess the last column is the newbie friendly stream. Purge + Sunsfan and Shane + Blitz + Pflax should be great for that.

so basically the pairings are: LD & Synd Tobi & Lumi Ayesee & Maelk Lysander & Basskip Merlini & Godz Maut & Kotlguy Blitz & Pyrion & Shane Capitalist & Waga
i think i like ld/lumi & tobi/synd better or sunsfan/synd wouldve been gr9 too

It looks about 50/50 LD+Lumi vs Tobi+Lumi

Maybe if you're from a top ten Confirmed that lawyers make shit unless you are one of the top counsels. It is one of the worst professions possible for pay vs student debt ratio.
And the NaVi guys may have made enough to never have to work, assuming they never get married, have kids or never have any family members that need help. From my impression on Dendi, I do t think he is just letting his blue collar family fend for themselves.

Here's a thought for a murderspree tag team that I think might be really hilarious in pubs: Huskar with Aghs+Veil and Axe with Aghs. Farm isn't too difficult to get and the results are promising.
If the Veil debuff is applied: any target with 768/1152/1600 (based on rank of Culling Blade) health instantly dies. Then after 4 seconds you hop to the next person, then the next.
If the Veil debuff is not applied (say the secondary targets avoided the Veil AoE) your numbers are 585/878/1219 hp.
This all assumes normal magic resistance (no pipe/cloak/AM/Meepo) but it sounds really fun. Team Alley-Oop, the Dunk Bros.

I think you're underestimating how much money Dendi and Xboct (the situation is different for Puppey in Estonia) made and how cheap it is to live in Ukraine.

or maybe my view of things is distorted because I live in a very high-cost area
