He's useless. he is not as horrible as you think .. he is somewhat like abaddon just a nerfed version of it in lanes sure he is not like dazzle who has high impact even in the beginning but is like AA .. needs levels to be effective he can also be comboed to a couple of heroes in lane .. | ||

Maybe it will work against TB, if you can somehow get past the bullshit metamorphosis spell. God i hate that fucking hero, i don't even feel ember or lycan is OP compared to him. | ||

I think that in very well coordinated teams, supports that contribute/initiate to ganks early, have more positive gameimpact early. Dazzle, sjaman, AA, rubric, visage, venomancer can initiate a gank or pick off a tower during the laningstages if there is good coordination. They can make things happen early and omniknight excells at not letting the enemy make things happen early. Against the most picked carries in promatches he has alot of potential : An ember, luna, lifestealer, weaver, lycan, vengefull spirit, drow, bristleback and a templar assasin cant fight when he casts his ultimate. His ultimate is stronger when used offensively and less defensively. I think he has potential as a counterpick in promatches against an ember-mid+psychical damage dealing carry. | ||

I feel like your point became invalid when you listed venge and drow as "most picked carries in promatches" My 2c is that omni is difficult to lane, is hardcountered by a 3300g item, and does little that a dazzle or even an abbadon can't do 10000x better. | ||
