Sure he is! Or is sometimes. The amount of effort the rest of EG puts into making space / securing farm for him justifies calling him a pos1 even though he's doing it from mid.

Silent and Xboct.
Not Corey and Loda.

Yep.

In no particular order: Burning, Sylar, Xboct, Hao, Silent and Rabbit. Those are the ones I consider currently doing their job consistently on a very high level with minimal errors - Yes I know Xboct is on my list and I know what I'm saying. Other special mentions: Loda, RTZ should we count him as carry and Era. EE, while being definetly a very good carry doesn't convince me to be one of the top dogs.

West would be xboct or silent only in the conversation. China you have burning rabbit sylar and hao (maybe zsmj later on). But for he east, i'd include meracle and kyxy.

Didn't see anything of meracle and barely anything from kyxy, but yea I agree. Forgot about him.
I'm just watching some of the WPC VODs from today and apparently Hao went for Phase on his Morphling as well. Seems like Silent starting a new trend. Morph has 285 base MS, which is below average and he gets some good damage in order to have an easier time lasthitting, without having to Morph agi, which enables him to have more HP, being more safe to ganks, saving him mana, which he starves for, before he gets his linkens. Dunno. It does make sense on the one hand, but still seems odd, on the other.

EE is so much like Black^ or early Silvercross (RIP) to me. He almost always gets his, but he doesn't always do anything with it. Sometimes he plays brilliantly, but others he's not as impactful as his role dictates.

Lets say hes an unexplored hero with alot of potential,
To cut the story short he needs level and farm, and doesnt offer a good 1v1 matchup or if in a 2v2 or 3v3, doesn't do much and looses the game from there

He's boring as shit... I don't actually think there's a reason omni isn't picked beside that one. His long cast animation is problematic but his skillset makes up for it.

Boring as shit? Dude, he's like one of my alltime favorite heroes to play.

offers very very little in terms of laning yet is very level dependent kind of like how silencer has a very weak lane contribution, but at least he's ranged with an orb
sometimes you see farming omni in weird push strats

MUFC omniknight never forget

The last team to do anything with Omniknight was EG, about 18 months ago, in the infamous Four Knights strat. The thing with the hero is... He doesn't really add too much tbh. His burst healing is good, and Repel is amazing, but Degen Aura's not all that. He can't offlane, not even with the newer, more generous equilibriums. He gets nothing out of gold that every other hero doesn't also; like, yeah, having Arcane/Mek on him quickly is nice, but it's also nice on every other hero. He brings zero kill power to a lane if it isn't already overflowing with it. Defensively he's not especially valuable in lane, either with his short-ish cast ranges and long animation. He's certainly not a Dazzle or ES. And without levels, his strengths become much, much less. Repel is decent at level one, but not amazing. His heal sucks if it isn't leveled and likewise Degen. And the only time Guardian Angel has been worth overlooking his various defects for is in metas that revolve around ultra-farmed Medusas, Faceless Voids and similar.
Omni could be really quite good in some lineups. The challenge has always been figuring out how to lane him so he pulls his weight. And there's really no point in taking on that challenge when Dazzle replicates nearly everything he does but better.
