Broodmother still wins 99% of her matchups if she is not countered, so I dont see your point.

Regarding Ember Spirit, it's fun to see people complain about his mobility. If he is too mobile then what are heroes like AM, Puck and Storm ? I don't see people complain about those 3 heroes. Two of those are better than Ember Spirit too.
Oh and he ins't strong at every stage of the game. He has items timings where he is really strong, but if you miss those then he becomes average at best.
Pick some fucking stuns to kill him and stop complaning.

Have you even played the new broodmother? She's useless. She's literally worse than she was pre web change because now when you're revealed you cease to be a hero

Its like Rikimaru bad, but maybe worse.

I didn't mind semi-old Brood that much (When she could path through trees, but not off the map). It just sucked when my team freaked out and would put a trilane up against her and spend half the game trying to chase her through the woods and generally violently overreact. It felt like any of the "Good vs solo melee" heroes like bristle / tide / centaur / viper etc could just start the game with sentries and then keep her off of any farm while getting freefarm themselves. It only really sucked if she somehow managed to get a soul ring up quickly and could use that farm to carry herself to that retarded annoying midgame state where she's unkilable and pushing towers.

I have seen 1 bm in mm since the patch and I honestly don't mind. Although she wasn't good enough for competitive her playstyle was the most frustrating thing to see in pubs.

You basically had to pick LC/timber and 1v1 her. Traditional safelanes can't stop her from leaching xp and then she harasses everyone out of lane with only a soul ring.

Yeah. I'm incredibly ok with that hero not being viable in its current form. If there was a poll to have a hero completely redesigned, I think Brood would win going away.

No she is not useless, what the fuck are you talking about ? If you don't have enough AoE then you lose the lane versus Broodmother. A sentry ward won't save you. If you have enough AoE to kill the spiderlings then congrats you succesfully countered Broodmother. FYI every hero in the game looks bad when countered.
Oh and btw, Riki definetly isn't a bad hero.

No, Broodmother is actually really bad now.

Like unplayably bad.

Like she's really easy to counter.

I agree that current BM is bad. I just think that old BM was MMR farmer and fun destroyer. I'd rather have her on the bench while icefrog thinks of a new rework.

@How sentries counter Brood -

She needs to get farm to get mana regen (typically soul ring?) to get spiderling spam for harass and lane dominance and everything. If she can't get her early farm (And lets be honest, she doesn't have that much going for her aside from webs) then she doesn't get her mana up for that spiderling spam, and it goes downhill from there.

Also she fucking dies to ganks because sentries turn her into a mediocre melee hero with no escape or defense mechanisms.

I still miss playing solo Tide vs solo Brood and laughing as the Brood, used to dominating the lane after soul ring and by being obnoxious, suddenly has no farm, can't harass me out of lane, and is wholly and entirely useless as I enjoy a fast blink dagger and quick levels, which I may then use to dismantle the rest of her team as she attempts to recover from her shitty scenario.

Also yes Shaella has been known to shitpost, but I for one love Shaella anyways.

ember not really broken like tb is, ive been insta picking for a few weeks and it's high lockdown that counters him, his mid is really strong and doesn't lose hard to any hero - only hero that makes my life hard is viper. awful farmer, needs to get kills for items.
