The thing is, if you have a team build around him with disables, he just instantly kills any hero and easily snowballs, especially once he has his bkb (i.e. he can't be slowed anymore)
I don't play at a pro level duh but I fail to see why isn't he picked with a team built around him.
The problem with building around a specific hero so heavily is that if that hero gets picked off you auto-lose. Also you have to roam is 4-5 which means that there is most likely going to be a farm disparity. Most of the time a competitent team will punish 5 man roaming with counterpushing and farming separate lanes.
The DotA 2 drama is so much better than the SC2 drama. :D
Seems 357 is quite two-faced in his dealings e.g. telling 71 to kick 820 and Crystal from EHOME (a backstab if you consider that it was 820 who first recruited 357 into EHOME), calling KingJ washed-up but still taking him to EHOME, etc.
820 comes out of the mess as an honest fellow even helping Crystal out when he didn't receive a full month's compensation.

and remember when CH split up? 2009?
I remember vaguely. Didn't Burning make a public post that sounded really pitiful about how his back hurting from having to sleep on the couch because Longdd's gf came to visit? Also the usual stuff about Longdd skipping practice, Burning not getting paid, etc.
Maelk As per usual, people are very forgetful and seem to jump to conclusions from a timespan of anything from a week to a month or so.
Admittedly, EG has undergone some huge difficulties regarding our roster, and we have been punished a lot in terms of stability and level of competition because our desire to keep the roster intact. Over the course of 3 months, despite major commitment- and chemistry-issues, we have tried to make it work, and it has ultimately reached a point where we needed to evaluate whether or not we believed in overcoming these hurdles or if we should face reality and change the roster.
Obviously the latter has been the case, with PlaymatE already laving after his hiatus and EG not having used Lacoste and MiSeRy for a month or so, and as some has mentioned the team has started looking into other options.
I understand how a roster such as ours is expected to deliver topnotch results and such, but in all honesty, I wouldn't expect the commmunity to be as narrowminded as it seems to be from week to week. Even with our immense difficulties, we still managed to win Dignitas Cup in March as well as winning one of the joinDota Masters tournaments (also in March) not to forget placing third in The Defense - arguably the biggest and most succesful online tournament thus far, and since early April - where we also finally decided to look into other alternatives - we haven't participated in anything with a full roster. I am almost exclusively to blame for our lack of activity/practice for the past month as I have been, and still am, out travelling the United States.
With that being said, I think everyone knows what can be expected from a team such as ours once we get our mojo back and actually start training for something as important as Dreamhack and The International, and for you forgetful ones, we have a combined roster of people who managed to place 4th and 6th the last time around (best European/American placements after Na'Vi). Our roster has people who has more experience in the scene than most others can match, and both the experience and results to show for it, yet people tend to think that because a team does somewhat decent over the course of two weeks they are suddenly deserving of an invitation despite them not delivering any noteworthy result nor having the player-material to really challenge any of the established powerhouses.
Should EG end up not being invited, which I personally would be more than baffled about, I can't wait to see them list of teams that goes in our place. Only thing that in my world could possibly justify that would be a tournament with over the majority of the teams being Chinese.
I'm at the EG-lair now, trying to practice a bit with the team before rounding up my trip around the States later this month and from there we will be practicing 24/7 for 3 months straight (with a lineup yet to be announced) and of course attend Dreamhack! Can't wait to play some LAN again!

Thing is, there are better heroes to have a team built around. AM, void, spec, PL, morph all carry harder than ursa and don't require babysitting in lane to the same extent. Ursa is a bit like jugg; high threat in lane when combined with disables, a little more damage but not as much utility.

you can basicly use your illusion to farm while jungling while lanes are calling miss. This way a lot of dust on the enemy team will be wasted. Building stat early also give PL a certain level of tank which negate the QoP/ES instant-kill nukes by quite a bit.

can someone translate some of that ?
dota is a global language... basicly you lane with a baby sit who carry RoB, skill lance + stat with 1 level in walk before lv 11, ulti take normal. Item start out with PMS into tranquil+vitality-> rad. Notice how he dive tower at level 5 easily to kill WD @_@.

I saw the skill build and item build, I meant if he said anything that could be important but wasnt so obvious
