I have picked one league to follow and that's the D2dream league. Everything else is sort of dead to me.

I wanna watch both DreamLeague and StarLadder #firstworldproblems

nice system valve. welp, smurf time. The syst seems fine to me. I never get muted or put into lpq. I give people pointers all the time. I explains to a guy yesterday that one of the powers of antimage, beyond fast farming, was his ability to safely split push while doing so. He didn't freak out our try to report me. It might just be you. You can't change valve, so you might look to yourself. The system can be better tho. Like, when u get low prio, u just push mid with 5 and 1 hour later your good to go in normal qeue. If you are in a 5stack low prio only takes 30 minutes or something like that (axe+early rosh thing). Do you really think people will bad manner less after 1 hour of ancient rushing? Next to that, when you win alot of games you get placed with lesser skilled people, this is by far my biggest actuator to vent some steam. If valve would fix matchmaking that the skillevelbandwith is less then it is now for some lobsided games, it would save alot of aggrevation, reports, bad manner and whatsoever. I.e. When you are on a winningstreak they could also raise the rating on the other team instead of lowering your rating. DFor people on a losingstreak they could lower the rating of the opponentsteam. Its a more positive adjustment of your games, i dont think they are doing this atm (not sure ofc). Wow I wasn't aware it was possible to be this wrong
Oh pls snoman..

Just choose the match, which has either your favorite teams or the most interesting draft. If both are not really indicative of what you wanna watch, choose the match, which has more kills. That's what I usually do. I'm a weird human, I know.

It's not that diferent from last year. It's not the first time there are 3-4 games hapenning at the same time, and it will happen again next year. It's just that we were at a slow phase and are gearing up to the pre-TI4 marathon.

Draskyl + Lumi is just too good.

I don't think there's too many events overall, what's retarded is that all these high profile tournaments are all happening at the same time. Two weeks ago, you were barely able to see a top team playing and now we have this situation.

Yeah your right. Those we're quite huge.
Really hope they won't revert the invoke change, gotten so used to having 2 spells available early.
Speaking of heroes that feel a little to good, what do you guys think about Luna?

invoker is just fine right now. people just have to accept, that you need 2-3 arcboots if you play against him.
teamfight -> emp -> 3 arcboots -> kill them. its such an easy solution

The invoke change is great, but playing against a wex invoker is about as fun as a root canal. I think some changes are needed just to fix the hero in pubs, kind of like they did with brood. Not a fun hero, used to be.
Luna is just one of the most flexible carries right now. I don't know any change that would work for her without dropping her off. Strong team push carries make games more interesting to watch, too.

Playing against Tide, Enigma or Naga isn't really that fun either. But I don't know that that's a compelling reason to change something. Otherwise NP would have been changed years ago. KotL too.

Lunas popularity has largely to do with gyros downfall. The flak cannon nerf was a pretty big hit and also his attack range got gutted so people turned to Luna again who got buffed like every patch for the last idk how many months. these things happen I wouldn't say that they are the same hero but they both fill a very similar role. For a while there was literally no reason for picking luna because gyro did everything she could just better.

The real change was just letting glaives double-hit things.

There are also definitely a lot of heroes that can't fight with 3 (or 4, or 5) arcane boots worth of mana. Although admittedly those are generally the heroes that still have mana after being EMP'd.

There's also just the fact that the tempo of games in 6.79 fit Luna's early 5-man pushing power far better. Gyrocopter is somewhat more well-rounded and with a power curve that is a little shifted toward later portions of the game (Luna has a strong push timing with 2-4 ranks aura + first minor item, as well as a stronger BKB timing, while Gyro is somewhat more powerful at BKB+1 and is a little scarier to back-line heroes in the lategame).

Worth noting that Luna is a bit faster of a farmer for the most part, however.
