When selecting guilds the image is the link to access it, but because this specific one doesn't have one it doesn't switch

What I observe from my last 50 games or so is, people tend to 5 man so early even before 10 minutes of the game in pubs. Then pick of who is roaming around the tower , then take the tower and change the lane to do the same. I am pretty sure people were trying to win the lanes at least, or farm mid game items etc.. before Generally I play solo and couldn't matched with proper mates to respond this kind of play. My thought is, 3-4 man should defend the tower while 1-2 farm other lanes and kind of split push. Or face-rush-kill them so hard when they push.At the end we lose towers, huge gold difference, no map control and eventually lose the game. Funny thing is, not the line-ups are suitable for pushing, just the factor of 5 man. Is it because of latest patch or becoming a pub trend?

I just think it's a pub trend. dual lanes are more common now, which makes it harder to gank and harder to free-farm, so people get their basic items and start looking for blood. Having a subset defend while 1-2 farm is optimal vs 5 man offensive play, but far harder to pull off in pubs since it demands the people defending know what they are doing and the farmers are ready to TP in. Personally when I play a carry solo, I don't dare depend on my teammates to defend 5man pushes, so I'm pretty much forced to go defend, and once you leave your lane and join the rest, it's easy to fall into the situation where you just keep roaming as 5.

thing is, a lot of pubbers out there seem to think that the only reasonable response to 5 guys in mid is your own 5 guys in mid, when this isn't very true.

I wish dual lanes where more common in my games, but you know, there is always that 1 guy who has to pick Nature's Prophet/Lifestealer and go to the woods... or fucking LC. it's like a bad ursa. why do people do this?

Definitely a pub trend. Its been like this for a while; just been getting progressively worse. It wouldn't be an issue if pub teams knew how to split push properly...or defend as 3-4 whilst someone farms...or carry TPs...or a whole bunch of other things. Unfortunately many don't so 5-man sub-10-minute facerush strategy works ridiculously well even without a pushing lineup.
