As far as hero orbs, OD, Silencer and Enchantress have orbs that are not sinergistic with item orbs. You don't really want to lifesteal off their normal attacks for example, neither you're interested in desolating. Drow, Viper, Ursa, Huskar, could get significantly better, but i'm not sure if that would be too much. Deso+MoM would probably be core on Drow only because on how absurdly fast you could take down towers, making her a super good splitpusher. Viper could get lifesteal but i'm not sure you'd even get that over just tanking items for faggotness. And to be honest Viper really need some sort of remake, he's the real 1 button hero, not WK. Ursa would probably go for MoM + BkB for the lulz as no one can effectively manfight you anyway. Huskar would sucks even with lifesteal honestly, now that you get attack speed instead of attack damage. Mael would be fun, but still. Hero'd suck even if Fire Spears weren't orb.

Dont underestimate atos atm, certainly against racecars like that maiden with the ghosts. The slow is really long duration, long initiation (no other item has this, at night u can slow people before they even see you). Its a relatively cheap item which could have big impact. Supports could benefit greatly from it Although i would pair it up with a nightstalkerstrat, because the range on atos is its biggest asset and combines well with the nightstalkerultimate. Yes, i am one of the few that actually uses atos on certain supports (low+midrange mmr).
