You have a liking for herring, it seems.

whatever your MMR is, you're bad you will always be bad, being bad at dota is the state of 99.99% of its playerbase Accept the badness, EMBRACE the badness. From that, you will find enlightenment

You know way more about dota than your teammates yet still get matched up with them? Great, doesn't matter since all your knowledge is useless if you can't execute what you "should" be doing. Either that or you vastly overestimate your knowledge and gamesense and rage at people for the wrong reasons. It is one thing to say that matchmaking is trying to make even games. It is a whole another ballpark to say that it is actually an accurate representation of skill level. Please don't tell me you think Dota 2 is particularly reliant on mechanical skill? Literally 90% of the game is knowing random information. But aight seeing as you want examples of mechanical skill: 99% of the people I get queue with have no clue how not to draw creep aggro while harrassing the enemy carry. 2% of the people I get queued with know how to reliably do the pull-through thingie (instead of stacking the pull camp). And I have yet to see someone who can micro themselves out of a shoebox. But hey, if you want to think of me as someone who is as "mechanically advanced" as a toddler with his arms tied behind his back, be my guest. Kinda funny tho that you seem to imply that after I say I rose up my MMR by playing a lot of Visage, of all heroes. And the whole point is that I no longer get paired up with double quelling blade DK's after raising my MMR. Now it's just Vlad's PL, so I've still got a ways to go but we'll see. If anything, what I've posted so far is a big counter-argument that something like ELO hell exists, seeing as I significantly rose my MMR in a few days Those are literally examples of game knowledge, not mechanical skill, aside from the micro one. And I'd contest that Dota's anywhere near 90% game knowledge, considering there are tons of heroes like Puck, TA, and Tinker where the correct play to make isn't terribly unclear, but the actual execution of it isn't something everyone can manage.

And I have yet to see someone who can micro themselves out of a shoebox. The nature of knowledge in DotA 2 is that it's so incredibly vast that it's quite simply not possible for anyone to be perfectly versed in everything, even at the absolute top levels of the game. If you want to nitpick at things like this, "The Play" at TI2 was entirely a product of Zhou not knowing that Naga+Tide couldn't combo the same way in DotA 2 as in DotA 1, and up until mid last year, Sylar didn't Treads swap when jungle farming as Anti-mage. Therefore, it's incredibly meaningless to point out two specific bits of information which are, in the grand scheme of things, very unimpactful toward winning the game on their own, and say that they are indicative of how poor the skill level in the games you're playing is. The nature of things is such that the things that you know that others don't are very obvious to you, and it's easy to criticize other people for not knowing them, and conversely the things they know that you don't are utterly invisible to you. Rather the question you should be asking yourself is--if these players are so lacking, but are still in this level of play, then there is something that must have brought them here. If there are all these things that I know that they don't--what is it that they know that I don't? Or is there perhaps something wrong in the things I think I know?

In wc3 dota, you could toss them into the air while they slept. So if you naga sleep, and then ravage and then un-sleep as soon as enigma is in the air he will hit the ground before he can bkb and get stunned by tide ulti. That's my understanding of it. Even so, you can still argue that Zhou's positioning in that fight was a mistake. Rubick could still have stolen ravage and that might've allowed enigma to bkb+ulti.
