That would be RIDICULOUSLY OP Hah, morphling would be the new dark seer except he can do physical damage as well. Th

@Sn0_Man, thanks for clarifying things.
I am greately pleased my favorite spider is going to return to pro meta, that's all I know.

If anything the morphling changes confirm that its not real.

@Comeh, it's worth sharing anyway.
I extremely enjoyed Sven's change for example.

The changes to Huskar/Broodmother demonstrate that he isn't afraid to try that stuff, and I don't think it's impossible for him to have decided that "ramping up" the hero uniqueness is in the best interest of Dota at large.
Why is Huskar there, lol. Nothing he's done with Huskar is strange or difficult.
EDIT: Broodmother changes weren't hard either.
From a WC3 engine perspective, the weirdest changes were probably NS and Slark/new smoke (and those aren't undoable, just require weird workarounds).

Morphling - Cast point decreased from 0.25 to 0
Totally legit.

This is obviously fake. Why even talk about it

The guy even tried to put Wraith king instead of Skeleton King to make it sound more like "inside infos"

This patch notes is less crazy than 6.79. Noone would believe that shit was legit.

Morphling is boring though

I have never seen a leaked changelog that ended up being anywhere close to real. I doubt this one is.

Yeah, except you know, the ones that turn out to be real. Dota players typically put the current balance on a massive pedestal and think small things will break the game, obviously if pudge could get blink he would be first pick/ban every tourny right?
I'm not saying these notes are right but there's a big difference between theorycrafting changes and testing changes, and in small tests a lot of wacky stuff gets tested out even if it is seemingly broken.

heres my fake changelog -
Morphling -Waveform reworked and has been renamed to Tsunami. Now has the width identical to Keeper of the Light's Illuminate during travel. -Adaptive Strike no longer knocks the target back but now deals the same damage and stun to units within a 175 radius around the targeted unit.

Which one turned out real?? I've read at 6 "leaked" DotA changelogs over the time I've been following dota and none of the changes in the fake changelogs had anything remotely similar to what was in the real thing.
Maybe I missed some, tho.

what a cruel king he would be to unleash another round of greevilings on us

You know, those patch notes looks very real. Yes, morph one sounds on paper really stupid strong, but so has a lot of changes that ended up fine. Especially the fact that all replicas are destroyed when you morph to it makes it so you have can't just jump into a fight and instantly have 5 replicas ready, you have to start storing them up over time. It will make him into a ridiculously strong pusher tho.

okay so i read through the thing and some of these changes seem very un-Icefrog like.
