if we get holdout we have almost 100% certainty that we will get custom maps as well and if we do.... dota 2 will explode as the most popular game ever (overreacting obv) | ||

The fact that it is something of a paradigm shift from older patches isn't an issue because 6.79 itself was a major paradigm shift as far as I'm concerned. With the official release of Dota 2, and with Icefrog having literally full-time employment to do nothing but work on Dota, its hard to rule things out. Even if the patchnotes are legit, there will obviously be changes before that makes it into the client.
